This over 250-year-old, listed historic country house is idyllically situated amidst a park-like, 3000 m² garden on a historic terp (artificial mound) in the heart of Eckwarden, only about 1000 m from the dike, near the Eckwarderhörne beach resort between the Jade Bight and the North Sea. Although located in a green setting away from the main road, amenities such as a supermarket and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
The house was completely renovated in 2013/14 and stylishly furnished according to the motto "Antique meets IKEA." The mix of old and new furniture gives the house a special, individual country charm. Large casement windows, original tile and wooden floors, antique doors, and high ceilings also contribute to this atmosphere.
The generously proportioned living space of approximately 160 square meters on the ground floor is divided into an entrance hall with an open-plan dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a living room (30 square meters), and three bedrooms (27 square meters, 15 square meters, and 13 square meters). The entire setting promises pure tranquility; you will be able to enjoy the house, nestled in a secluded, park-like garden, all to yourself and experience a truly special and relaxing holiday.
