PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

The house is secluded, not far from the village Rim where it actually belongs. It was built in 1886 but has been recently redecorated with special love and care and is surrounded by green lawns, an orchard and a forest. Primarily it was meant to be a family house for a family with 2-3 children. During the renovating and decorating there was one guiding principle above all: the family has to be comfortable and relaxed in the house, both the grown-ups and children have to find something that will calm them down, relax and inspire. That is exactly why only exclusively natural and ecology friendly materials were used for the reconstruction of the house. There are wood floors throughout the house except in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The walls are mortared in the old fashioned way so the irregularity and warm colours of the walls remind us of our ancestors calm life. Thick stone walls and aircondition units will assure the freshness in the whole house even in the hottest summer days. There is a large terrace in front of the house followed by lawns and meadows.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RENTAL UNIT

Country house Our Istria is  a beautifully renovated old stone house , for sole use of the renters. It offers accomodation for 4-5 persons and it is perfectly positioned  in the heart of Istria peninsula, only 30 min drive to the Adriatic coast and its beautiful beaches, as well as, for daily  trips to Italy and  Slovenia. This secluded house offers  every luxury,  comfort  and a beautiful sparkling pool  in serene, unspoilt natural surrounds.

The living/dining room is very spacious and pleasant, furnished with antic furniture. There are the kitchen, the bathroom and the pantry on the ground floor and are divided from the living room by the wooden staircase leading to the first floor. There is also a big oak hand-made table for 8 persons.

The house has a fully tiled kitchen, with all the accessories you will need to rustle up a traditional dish for family and friends. The kitchen has a fitted oven, microwave, fridge freezer. You will not want for nothing in this beautifully decorated kitchen with vivid colours.

There are two bedrooms and a reading/relaxing area on the first floor. Both bedrooms have storage, and are tastefully decorated .
