Located on a lake with almost 11 acres to romp around on. A very quiet and private spot with a kayak and canoe. Great swimming and fishing.The house is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home.The bedding is very comfortable. The kitchen is a cooks delight. Just bring some food and your clothes. Everything else is supplied for you. With a location minutes away from Cabot Creamery and a close distance to Montpelier, there is lots to do all year round.

My pup and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely property for a long weekend. The space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I greatly enjoyed the unusual art work too. I am pretty picky about noting a kitchen as well-stocked, but this kitchen certainly was! I felt safe there staying alone. Communication with the owner was smooth and helpful. I left something at the property and the owner mailed it back to me in a quick turnaround. I would definitely stay here again.

Place was very dusty and many cobwebs. Location is nice with view of the pond, but roads getting around could be a little tricky. Comfort of beds left some to be desired. But sitting looking out main windows was delightful and sitting on the dock was great.

If you are looking for a truly VT place to stay this is it lovely renovated farmhouse sitting right on a little Vermont pond close to everything you like to do hiking biking sightseeing right in the heart of the northeast kingdom in Cabot Vermont if you’re looking for white walls, chrome and square rooms keep scrolling. This is the second time we rented this house for our family and we would not put our family up in anything but the best Kathy Matthews.

Absolutely love this house and the location. Visited with my wife, dog and parents. Complete relaxation. Used the kayaks most days and fished from the canoe and row boat. Sadly no fish were caught but I'm sure they enjoyed the supply of fresh worms! I'd highly recommend.
