You would think when the area has no restaurants open on a Sunday the hotel would cater guests. Very poor and disappointing. Wouldn’t stay there again on a Sunday. Rooms basic but comfortable. Thin walls, could hear a rowdy room despite being at end of corridor

Our family room was very comfortable but there were a lot of stairs to climb to get to it though! It was walkable to the Memorial and we were able to leave our car while visiting it.

Excellent.

Overnight stay while going from Brittany to stop and see the Normandy sights. Excellent price, really excellent quality, great fresh air conditioned rooms, spotless and really professional polite multi lingual staff. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stopover prior to catching a ferry. I have booked the hotel once before about 3 years ago, and my previous experience was good. When we walked down the corridor leading to our ground floor room, there was a strong odour. We weren't sure what it was. It was a bit sweet and perfumey. I couldn't decide if it was an unusual smelling cleaning product or something being used to disguise or cover another odour. The room also had a slight odour, but this was a bit musty and unpleasant. The room was clean although the shower room looked tired with discoloured grout around the shower. There was also discolouration around the plughole in the sink, which was due to a build up of soap etc and not having been properly cleaned. Also the sink waste overflow was very dirty. On the plus side, we found the staff helpful at check in and the hotel was quiet overnight. The bed was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast so unable to comment on that. I did notice that there were 3 coach parties staying at the hotel and the dining room was very busy both in the evening and on the morning we checked out. Our experience wasn't as good as our last stay here and we are unlikely to stay again.
