Cairns Bay accommodation from NZ$200

A lovely location overlooking the river. Quiet room with a great guest lounge. Excellent meals.

My partner and I made an emergency reservation fairly late on the same day we were meant to arrive in town. We encountered some extenuating circumstances during our vacation, which meant we needed a safe place to sleep for a couple of nights. Despite this short notice, our stay was fantastic! We did a contactless check-in after hours, arriving sometime after 7pm. This was a godsend after the long, and frankly terrible, day we’d had. In the morning, the staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and I felt at ease immediately. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and I also loved that our suite had a private bathroom. The included breakfast was quite good as well- and I’m a fairly picky eater. Overall, it was money well spent and I would love to go back someday. Additionally, the town of Cygnet is quite charming itself. There are a few options nearby for food, fun, shopping, etc., but I was particularly fond of a cafe/bakery that makes an absolutely divine sourdough baguette. I dream of that bread even now

We only stayed one night while passing through. The cabin was very cosy and had everything needed with lots of little extras. The hosts made the 'check in' so easy. Thank you.
