I got sick due to mold in the air conditioner, the managers refused to clean it and told me I can leave if I don't like it. Mold sickness is deadly so I had to leave. Possibly the worst level of customer service I have received at a hotel.

Management are horrible people, the staff were ok but the customer service of the Management is the worst i have ever experienced. I asked them to clean the moldy AC unit and they refused and told me to leave if I didn't like it.

The hotel is in a great location—the beachfront promenade is within walking distance, as is everything else you might need. For an additional fee, you can rent a parking space in the garage, but there are also parking spots available right outside. The hotel itself could use a bit of a makeover, but it was clean and the air conditioning worked well.

The manager showed some of the worst behaviour from a customer service stand point I don't ever think it could be matched. I am disgusted by the attitude. I had made a complaint about mould in the air-conditioner as i was feeling a bit ill from the effects of it, they said they cleaned it, on returning to the room it was not cleaned and the manager of the place said she checked herself so I showed her photos of the mould. Rather than admit she was wrong they refused to clean it, they refused to change me into a different room and said if I don't like it I can leave the property. I called her bluff and left. I was a returning guest and I had bookings out for 3 months staying a week every second week. I cancelled them all and I will never return. The quickness of her refusal and request for me to suck it up or leave was easily the worst customer service I have ever received. It is going to cost me 2 grand to stay somewhere else on short notice but 100% worth it.

This is a great place to stay! The staff was great. It's a great location. The whole place is very clean. The bathrooms are huge and it was very comfortable. It's very walkable and a Woolworths right across the street. Walking distance to the night market, day market and the pier for the boats to the Great Barrier Reef. The building as a whole is older and we only got 1 key. But we didn't ask for a second. The building is well kept and very clean. The room has a fridge and an electric kettle. I would highly recommend this hotel! It's a great value!
