The owner and his daughter are lovely people. The property its self was good for the price and convenient for the pyramids.it was very noisy of a night sleeping was difficult.

Staying at the Gohar Guest House is like being at someones home. Halim was a great host. Breakfast provided each morning with a great view of the Giza Pyramids.Water is provided free of charge an there are tea and coffee making facilities, also free of charge. We were picked up from Cairo Airport and the transfer was great. Getting into Cairo does not take long. There are plenty of Taxis and Uber's around. For the more adventureous you can also get the 2001 bus to Giza Metro, then get the Metro to just about any part of Cairo. There are plenty of eateries around the guest house with a veriety of Egyptian Cuisine at resonable prices. I would recommend teh Gohar Guest House as a base for exploring the Pyrimid complex and Cairo
