We had arranged an airport schedule which did not meet us at the airport. We had to take a cab and when we got to the hotel and saw the state of the rooms and the condition of the hotel we refused to stay. We had to get another taxi to take us to a different hotel. The rooms where filthy, the pictures on the hotels.com website are not of the hotel. When we notified hotels.com of the condition of the hotel they contacted the hotel about a refund, but we did not receive one. I would never advise anyone to stay at this hotel.

The pictures on hotels.com did not resemble the room at all. The room was uncomfortable, lift was faulty, cigarette burns in the sheets, and worst was the balcony door did not close/lock properly feeling like a security concern. Despite booking a "superior" room, we were provided the above issues and the staff immediately tried to upsell to another room. Potentially a scam to extract more money.

The bed was comfortable and clean although the room looks nothing like the photos on the website. Staff were courteous and attentive. Good breakfast provided. Overall the hotel is tired looking but it was okay for a few nights if you're not expecting something fancy.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing and definitely not worth the $90 per night I paid. The photos online look nothing like the reality. When I arrived, they tried to give me a room far below the category I had booked. After I complained, they moved me to a slightly better room, but it still did not match the advertised photos at all. The breakfast was average and not a buffet. It wasn’t a proper continental breakfast either, the staff chose the items and portions for you. The elevator was unreliable and sometimes not working. The safe in the room was broken, wouldn’t open, and even had no batteries. Hot water also took a long time to come through. Overall, the stay was not encouraging and did not match the value for money. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel and rooms do not look anything like the pictures! We asked for the best rooms in the hotel and they were still terrible. This hotel should not be allowed to post fake pictures and mislead the guests. I have no idea how they have so many review and 3 stars. We confronted about the pictures to the Manager which seem to not care that we were in shock.

The staff were very kind and helpful, which is the only positive aspect I can highlight about this hotel. Unfortunately, it looks nothing like the photos advertised. The building is in a state of disrepair, and the rooms are of very low standard. The bathroom had serious issues — the toilet didn’t function properly and caused flooding across the floor. It’s clear that the pictures shown are not representative of the actual property.

This is an excellent hotel in the middle of origional cairo. Buildings in this area are quite old and sometimes nasty. This is not the case here. The building was remodelled nicely, and the facilities are quite good. One has to manage expectations here because this is a historic area of the city and the buildings typically lack what you might expect in newely built hotels. This building probably was built in the 1800s. Location is wonderful. Off of a main street which gives the rooms quitness and ability to rest at night. Im writing this review after my fourth stay at the hotel over a period of 5 years. The quality of the services qnd rooms stayed the same. Good overall without issues. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Accomodating for all your requests. Their airport transport is very reliable. Highly recomend Valencia to anybodybvisiting cairo for whatever purpose.

The air conditioning was excellent. Breakfast was OK, uninteresting breakfast room. All the staff were great, very responsive and kind. The reception staff and security guy were very helpful and approachable. The bathroom - the shower sliding door leaked badly onto the floor as it didn't go down far enough, we had to resort to mopping up with towels as it was always after-hours. The wardrobe & hangers were very dusty so we didn't use it. The lift was very dirty as were the stair wells - fortunately the lift worked so did not affect us. The floors were very clean in our room and outside. We didn't get the room we had booked. Nothing like the photo! Overall the location was good and we felt safe
