Cozy 2-bedroom house across from beautiful Oyster Bay, south of Campbell River

Come and enjoy the breathtaking ocean sunrises, and in season watch the cruise ships pass by at sunset. Our beautiful house is across from the Oyster Bay Nature Park where many shore birds nest and sea animals live. Long sandy beaches with pristine water perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boards. The kids will love building sandcastles and wading in the tidepools looking at the little crabs, fish and other beautiful sea creatures. Bring your wind surfer for those stormier days. Our house is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, gas range, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and separate laundry room. The dropleaf table provides that extra space when eating or doing a puzzle and can be tucked up against the wall when not needed. For those cooler evenings cozy up to the gas fireplace with a warm drink and a good book. When you’re good and tired from all that fresh air you can curl up on the queen size bed for the night. Outside you can enjoy sitting around a campfire at the beach(when fires are permitted) roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. We are a 20 minute drive to the base of Mount Washington ski resort that offers world class downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing in winter and great mountain biking trails in the summer plus loads of other fun. Downtown Campbell River is a 20 minute drive north and downtown Courtenay is a 20 minute drive south. We are centrally located between both regional hospitals. You will find many fun and interesting things to do. The outdoor hiking opportunities, golfing, wineries, beaches, fishing and incredible adventures are endless.

Fabulous oceanfront cottage

We will thrilled to see the cottage was even nicer than expected to what we saw on-line. The house was clean, updated, spacious and extremely comfortable. Oyster Bay was right across the road and fun to explore at low tide. The only surprise was how busy and noisy the road was during the day. By evening and through the night, traffic quieted down. No AC was needed as the house remained cool even on warm days. Close to Campbell River and Courtenay, we were quickly able to get to a variety of activities. Miracle Beach was just 10 minutes away, along with a local mini golf, perfect for kids. Our host was attentive ensuring our needs were met, keeping communication open during our stay. We were even able to purchase fresh eggs and enjoy raspberries from the garden. Overall, the perfect place to stay with or without children.

We were blown away when we entered this property! This home was beyond our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with our stay! From the tiny gnomes in the garden, the baby bunnies, the marvelous deck, the complete fenced yard, all the treasures from the beach, to the home itself was an incredible and an absolute beautiful dream! I am very grateful for our time here! And so happy I could bring along Isabelle! She really enjoyed the deck and porch! We had a wonderful graduation filled stay. We lived the house, the property and the view. It was clean, well stocked with everything we might have needed, and beautifully kept. Cute Cottage by the Sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage was extremely clean and cozy, and had a beach feel due to the decor. The kitchen was bright and updated, as was the bathroom. The property is on a busy street, but the traffic noise wasn’t an issue for us, and we slept well in the comfortable beds.The back deck is large and well lit up with strings of lights that turned on at dusk. We liked watching the bunnies in the backyard from the deck.In my opinion this rental is good value for money spent, and we are looking forward to visiting again.

Dena's 2 bedroom house in Oyster Bay

Three adults & 1 dog stayed a week. Check-in and communication with Dena was quick & easy. The location was peaceful & quiet, the house was SPOTLESSLY clean & equiped with many many extras including spices for cooking. It was so nice to let our dog outside on his own knowing he was safe in the fully fenced backyard. He also enjoyed the daily walks along the beach. We would definitely stay again.fenced yard.
