Oh my goodness, this was a FANTASTIC hotel: gorgeous location (literally breath-taking!) but most of all the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The hotel has a delicious breakfast with many choices of foods, delicious coffee, a fantastic dinner restaurant, and well appointed rooms. Marie (the owner) went out of her way to make our stay (our first visit to Italy!) special - and we felt like family by the time we left. We will return and you should make reservations here immediately!!

the staff, especially Gabriella and Maria, were wonderful! The location was perfect and not too touristy. Elba is a beautiful island and La Stella made the perfect spot to explore it from.

Excellent location, looking over the sea we arrived here around noon. Warm reception by the owner en perfect English and we immediately were invited to have a well prepared lunch. The hotel has a private beach but also direct access to a public beach. Rooms are very nice with airco, twin beds and good shower. The look from the terras is breath taking and we loved the breakfast. We would have liked to stay longer. But we will come back here.

Camera con vista

La vista sul mare è la cosa migliore di questo albergo, che è un po' datato. Le camere , almeno quella che ci è stata assegnata, sono piuttosto basiche. Non mancava nulla , ma l'arredamento è sicuramente da rivedere. Gli spazi comuni invece sono ben tenuti, il parcheggio è gratuito e riservato e alla reception ho percepito una genuina disponibilità. La colazione a buffet si può migliorare. Non spicca per abbondanza e qualità, ma tutto sommato l'ho trovata adeguata.
