When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly. The room was as expected for the price, although the bathroom light was falling out of the ceiling and the exhaust fan was not working. The smoke detector was also falling out of the ceiling in the room. Breakfast, where to begin. The cereal was stale, the pancakes were gloopy and inedible. The miniture muffins and "croisonts" were obviously bought from Woolies. The "croisonts" were actually cake based and not good at all. The orange juice was rancid and I had to brush my teeth, tounge and cheeks three times to try and get rid of the metalic taste the persisted all day long and affected my stomach for the rest of the day, even after just one sip. We had to warn other people not to drink it after seeing them get a glass and after advising the person on duty. She finally tasted it and then, rather than emptying it out, put an out of order sign on it. The apple juice was no better. It is surprising that hotels can call themselves "executive" when we would have been better off staying in a backpackers. The parking spaces were extremely small, a mini would fit perfectly. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

The girl on the front desk was amazing for our stay polite and efficient in attending a bathroom matter when our room wasn’t serviced as requested. The shower didn’t stop from flowing through our bathroom we had to use towels to mop the floor and left them for the cleaning staff. We had to ask the girl for the room to be cleaned and she asked the staff to clean the room. Other than the bathroom the suite was great and good undercover parking. The outside garden and grass overgrown just like the rest of Canberra. Breakfast was good.

Overall a decent stay for the price we paid. A few issues like broken door closers, broken hob fan but these did not hamper us a lot. Parking is a bit tricky but at least you get free parking. Communication could have been better. We booked to stay on the 25th of December and the check in time was apparently 24hrs. Did not affect us but a few people who arrived late, found out the counter was closed by 8 pm. They also mentioned nothing was told to them. The morning breakfast was good, but very chaotic!. The pancake machine broke before it even started.

The main reason we stay at this hotel is that they have a Tesla destination charger but it has always been taken up by non EV cars due to the lack of parking on site. It would be great if these spots are restricted to EVs, even with just a sign or marking on the floor. You could even have a restriction on cars that are not being charged

We had a good time staying here. Rooms were clean and tidy, beds were comfy and spacious bathroom. Had a good variety of continental breakfast. Parking spaces are limited and has to park on the street for the night other than that it was a pleasant experience.
