Staff were very friendly and the property was very clean, we were locked out of our room 5 different times and we couldn't get that resolved for 3 days until we went to the sales manager, I felt the room temperature was to cold and they would not adjust the temperature and we couldn't get washcloths for 2 days but other than that it was a very nice stay. No real beach at this resort we did travel to North beach which was amazing

This property and its staff were wonderful. We arrived early 3 hours before check in and they bent over backwards to accomodate us. Pool was so lovely and view of the ocean from there was perfect! Our room was spacious and cute. The hotel is small-ish and just what we were looking for! Service was incredible and food was good. We don't travel back to many destinations, but I would definitley visit again!! ** The only downside was the beach. It is my understanding that they are in the process of "building it up". So, they have these sand bags... Even with that being said, I would still give this 5 stars.

The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the courtyard and Gulf. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to reserve a scuba diving excursion onsite and taxis wait right outside. There’s a cute town within walking distance and less than 10 minutes from the downtown/ferry and north beach. The food was okay. We found a few dishes we liked. Beautiful sunset on the small beach area.

It is a very good property in the area. We got the all inclusive package but we only used it for breakfast and dinner. We tried to order beers to the room and we were told we needed to go down to get them… in an all inclusive. The property does not really have a beach. It is beachfront but not really worth it. I would say, all inclusive package isn’t what you should go in this property because if you are in Isla Mujeres, you are probably looking for the nice beach and blue waters, which this hotel doesn’t have, and you will need to end up looking for a beach club. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice and very comfortable.

Overall, we had a great stay at the Hotel Belo! Couple minor room glitches up front we had to address a few times, but eventually got it settled. Will say try to avoid getting an adjoining room as you can hear everything going on in the room next to you. But the staff was great and the overall hotel experience was great! We were there on a quiet week so we got to know most of the staff very well and they took great care of us. If you want a "real beach" go to Playa Norte on the north end of the island. The hotel beach is very small and the water is essentially unswimmable there, but if you just want a quiet beach setting to relax on, it's totally fine.

The hotel is on the quieter south side of the island, offering a peaceful escape from the busy downtown and ferry terminal. It’s a charming boutique property with a large main pool, a rooftop pool, and a calm nearby beach, though not ideal for swimming compared to North Beach. Restaurant options are limited, but the staff is attentive and professional. We had two spacious connecting rooms, each with a super king-sized bed (two full beds combined). Overall, a great choice for a quiet, relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at Hotel Belo! From the staff to the food to the pools and the rooms - everything was great. We really loved that the hotel was in a quieter area of the island. We could still very easily access the more touristy spots when we left the hotel for occasional day adventures. The neighborhood was very safe. The hotel was super clean. My favorite part of staying here was the nice staff! Everyone was always smiling and cheerful and fun to chat with. Highly recommend Hotel Belo!

Very Disappointing -

This hotel is VERY outdated and poorly maintained. There is one restaurant onsite with a very limited menu and poorly cooked food. Room service menu is even more limited with no alcohol delivery. "To go" wine from the bar is served in red solo cups. This truly was a "you get what you pay for" experience. Photo - and the fact they couldn't bother to nail the letters in place speaks volumes. Beach water is BROWN. Berms are placed at the beach and nearly impossible to walk into the water. No drink service at the beach. The pool is very small. The staff was friendly but that is the only positive thing I can say. We've stayed all along the Cancun area for years and this was the worst hotel experience. We actually paid for a day pass at another resort on the island for 2 of our 3 full days onsite so we could actually enjoy the water, the beach and have edible food and drinks.
