This hotel is a haven of tranquillity in the hustle and bustle of candolim and calangute. We were upgraded to the raj suite which was stunning and staff were so friendly it felt like a home from home. We also ate at the hotel twice in the evening as it was excellent quality.

Weekend getaway

I had an amazing weekend in Goa thanks to Marbella Guest House team - the accommodation is beautiful and well looked after. I can tell that the whole team at the guest house truly care about taking care of the property and guests. Nothing was too much trouble - from the moment I arrived I felt like home. My standard room was spotless, beautifully designed, clean and quiet. The team gave me tips for sightseeing and eating out and even offered to drop me off at a nearby beach although it’s a pleasant 10 minute walk away. They also arranged a massage appointment for me and the therapist was very professional. It felt wonderful to have a massage at the guest house after a full day of sightseeing in old Goa, which was also recommended by the team. Food was delicious and the menu had a lot of options. Truly wonderful stay. Hope to be back soon.

Great for Couples!

We had a fantastic stay in Candolim at Marbella. The location is secluded enough to be away from the noise, but also very close to the beach. The room was lovely and we had several meals at the guest house, all of which were great. I’d like to mention Mukti in particular, who was always incredibly friendly and kind. Very much recommend staying here, we will return!

Marbella is beautiful property with top notch staff, the food is amazing and location is excellent. By the time we left we felt like family. During our trip to India we stayed in a range of hotels including 5 star luxury properties. Marbella was by far our favorite.

Marbella guest house is a wonderful place to stay. it's in a fabulous location at the end of a quiet lane yet only a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. The rooms are all individual, large, clean and airy and with unique touches such as beautifully tiled bathrooms and antique furniture. There is a restaurant on site serving delicious food whenever you want it and the staff are great, freindly and welcoming. We can't wait to return.

Stayed at Marbella Guest House for 4 days over the November period. A lovely quiet place at the end of the street, yet only short 10 minute walk to Sinquerim beach, Fort Aguada and to Main Street and restaurants. Room was very clean, well equipped and air conditioned. Staff were all friendly and had several meals at the guest house that were all good and reasonably priced. A great place to stay if you want to get away from the hussle & bustle of Candolim and Calangute and are looking for a more boutique stay, with Portuguese style. Will definitely be back here again.

Beautiful old house with fantastic service

This is a beautiful hotel in a secluded spot. The service and food were outstanding, and it was overall a very relaxed place. The room was beautiful, old hardwoods and tiles with good amenities (mosquito net, aircon, fan) and a nice bathroom. It is an old building so sound did travel a little from other rooms, but we were very happy overall with our stay.

The serenity, the feeling of being in a private home. The bird life and the way staff gave one the feeling that nothing was too much trouble and quietly went about making you feel at home. This property is ideal for guests who are wanting seclusion and quiet. Meals are first class and cooked freshly at any time. Some of the best meals had in Goa.

The rooms were good classic style but I could not stay for long since the property is in hill area and is old the following night there was sudden attack of ants all.over the place not sure of the exact reason the staff tried doing some pest control but it was not reducing so the owner of the guest house made an alternative arrangement and made us move to other property.
