Where do I start? We booked a deluxe bamboo room, which was really lovely. However, the hotel is close to a beach bar that blasts music till about 3am at night, and is incredibly loud. There was also a very large corporate group that used the shared space for a bit, but made a lot of noise. We were offered another room in the main building which is much much quieter. The rooms in this building could have been in any hotel in the world, and did not have any character, however you can’t hear the beach clubs. This would have been fine, had there not been a leak from a vent in our bathroom about 3 hours after moving to the room. The ceiling in the bathroom was sagging slightly around the vent, and there was a large puddle of water. We were moved for the second time that day (at 11pm at night, with a baby), to another room. All in all, a terrible stay. The people that work at the hotel are lovely, and accommodating, however I am frustrated by the experience and the process we had to go through to get compensation (which was little, required us chasing it and not accurately explained).

I had a perfect stay at Zin Villas in Canggu. The team here is incredible – especially Python and Doddy in the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make every meal feel special. The food and service were excellent throughout my stay. I also treated myself at the spa and tried both the traditional and signature massages – both were absolutely perfect and such a highlight of my trip. The rooms are lovely and well designed, with very comfy beds that made it easy to relax. The only thing to note is that the area can get a bit loud at night due to nearby clubs, but if you don’t mind some nightlife sounds, everything else about Zin Villas is amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Canggu!

Beautiful property, but if you prefer silence and quiet hours to sleeps, this isn’t for you. However if you love partying and being close to the beach bars that blast their music until 4am, you will absolutely love it! I also understand that they have newer, quieter suites so if you’re looking for a mix, check those out.

The perfect stay!! I can only praise the whole staff and. Everything worked flawlessly, from checking, to checkout. They have a system through WhatsApp where they do not skip a beat. I have never stayed at a better run property.

Perfect location close to beach and restaurants. With canggu traffic you need to stay at a location like this and get around on foot. Food was great, beds comfortable and numerous pools so didn’t feel crowded. Cafe is busy with people and laptops that can have access to pools as day rate. Would just need to monitor to make sure nomads don’t take over paying guests. Will be interesting to see impact of build across the road as it looks like a club street facing is about to open which would ruin the quiet and peace at Zin.

Zin in Canggu was the perfect stay after a week in Seminyak. The staff was more than accommodating for all of our needs. Any time we needed transportation or had questions about the area they were quickly answered or taken care of. The room was gigantic with two showers a giant bed and dinette perfect for morning coffee. I happily sat on our balcony watching people go about their day while I enjoyed a drink and snack outside. The cafe on the property was great for breakfast as well as a place to hang out before our room was ready. The pools were beautiful and serene. Just a few minutes walking to the ocean where I was able to rent a surfboard and enjoy my time without lugging a ton of stuff with me because our room was so close. Also the gym and spa were great additions which my partner and I took full advantage of. I would happily stay at Zin again on my next trip to Bali!

ZIN offered a beautiful accommodation during our honeymoon! We stayed in a private pool villa—it was a lush and relaxing home base for our time in Canggu, with plenty of privacy and modern conveniences. We made use of the many amenities ZIN offered and the gym, spa, and cafe were all excellent.

We stayed in a beautiful pool side villa, which was huge and had heaps of space. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. There are multiple pools to swim in. The massage at the spa was one of the best I've ever had. The staff were great and very helpful. The food was very good. The only downsides for us were the business of Canggu, we didn't feel very safe walking as the streets are really narrow and there is a lot of traffic. Also at night time you can hear the bass from Finn's beach club down the road
