Person working the desk at check-in was not interested in helping or being remotely courteous. No hot tub access was not clear on the website and a disappointment (it should been more apparent that dry sauna was only one building and the hot tub the other?). Parking lot was very bad. Comfy beds, clean rooms, decent location. I would not stay here for regular rate decent value at discount.

Everything about our stay at Basecamp was 5 stars with the only minor exception being parking. With heavy snowfall and the need for larger vehicles in Banff, I wish they’d look into better parking options for SUVs and trucks. The handful of spaces out front are not enough to accommodate and we came very close to damaging our rental trying to navigate other options. Other than that, would happily return!

When we pulled back the comforter, the sheets underneath were covered in hair. We texted the 24/7 service number to let the front desk know about the issue and asked if the sheets could be replaced. After waiting 45 minutes with no response to either the original or follow up texts, we then called the front desk to ask for an update. No one answered the phone so we left a message about the sheets. It wasn't until going to the front desk nearly an hour later that we were told "oh, I saw the texts and calls, but house keeping hasn't got back to me". We'd sent the original text at 7:30pm, I'm sure long after all the house keeping staff had left. When we then asked again about when the sheets would be changed, as sheets covered in hair is disgusting, we were given a stack of sheets from the supply room and told to leave the hair covered sheets in the corner of the room for house keeping to deal with in the morning

Very nice, large room with up to date appliances. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The upstairs lounge and coffee station was a very nice addition and we utilized it a lot. The online check in and check out, along with the person key code for the door instead of a key card was handy and well recieved.
