Love base camp resorts. very clean. There was a lot of room even in a micro suite for two. The Canmore resort is right right beside a train so it can be a little loud evert now and then. We didnt mind it at all. Its right beside the Bagle house so breakfast was super easy. Unless, you brought ingredients to cook. They have a fully equiped kitchen. The resort is also super close to downtown canmore. Its just a 10 to 15 minute walk. With beautfiul views of the mountain. I would only say the biggest down side is the parking. It was pretty tight especially if you drive a truck or larger vehicle. Regardless, will definitely book again.

This is our 2nd stay at Basecamp Resorts and we will continue to come back everytime we're out west. The resort is conveniently located only 1hr from the airport, 30 min to Banff and a little under an hour to Lake Louise. Not to mention Canmore has many great shops and restaurants and is extremely easy to navigate. There is also a recreation centre called Elevation Place behind the resort where you can swim, skate and rock climb! We stayed in the micro suite and it was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We enjoy the convenience of having a kitchen all the accessories as well as a washer and dryer. Our room is always clean and staff at Basecamp lodge are always helpful if we've ever need anything! The railway runs behind the resort but it didnt cause us any issues and we enjoyed watching the train on several occasions. We absolutely recommend it to everyone we know!

I checked into my room to find a dirty room. It had been “cleaned” however the walls were dirty upon entering. The bed sheets were covered in hair. I pulled back the sheets and hair was all throughout. There was hair all over the bathroom, on the toilet paper and the shower was very dirty. I sent the front desk a text message and they did not reply. I called and they said they were sending housekeeping. They remade the bed and gave new towels. It was disappointing.
