A weekend getaway!

This little hotel has a lovely plaza right outside its door. There’s a coffee shop, an ice cream parlour, a breakfast and brunch place, and a dinner restaurant. The room is super comfy, and the place is clean and neat. Checking in and out is a breeze, and the staff is really friendly. We can’t wait to come back when we’re in Canmore!

The property was amazing! Extra shoutout to the cleaning staff who did such a cute gesture and had the kids stuffed animals positioned on the bed and it made the kids smile. They had one of the stuffed animals be sitting with crossed legs and we had a good laugh about it.

Stay was fine except the second night. The smoke alarm started beeping every 30 seconds due to it needing replacement. This started at 1am and would not stop. I eventually had to stand on the bed and do something about it myself. Staff wasn't very helpful or apologetic for the fact that this created a pretty terrible night of sleep. Property is nice and everything, front desk staff could use some training on how to deal with problems like this and appease a rather annoyed guest.
