We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Canmore! It’s a quiet and cozy place right in the heart of town. The location is perfect — close to restaurants, a gas station, and many beautiful spots for photos and walks. The area is peaceful, with amazing mountain views all around. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in the Rockies!

The parking is tight unless you have a small car, the parking stall seemed smaller as i got blocked from getting in my suv, because a truck parked beside me had left less then a foot between us parking in his stall

The suite was spacious. The kids loved having the pullout couch and their own tv. They used the living room as their own bedroom. The pool was also a big hit. Usually they were the only ones in it! Although the hotel could use a refresh, it had everything we needed and we were very happy with our stay!

Property appeared to be well taken care off but found that the bedroom could have been cleaned better. Quite a bit of dust behind the furniture. Very close to a railway line so noisy at varies times during the day and night (got woken up a couple times from the train).

The hotel is located a location that is absolutely beautiful! There is so much beauty around it. The room had two separate areas. One was for sleeping and one was a kitchenette with a living area. Sleeping area was small, but still good for families. I didn’t use the restaurant, but there is one on site. The menu looks like it’s a great place with lots of tasty options. I needed to do laundry and was told to take my dirty clothes to the neighboring hotel to do it. I had to walk my dirty clothes next door even though the Chateau had a washer/dryer. It was inconvenient. Lastly, the rooms need some updates. It looks dated with old carpet and forest green tile in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom vanity is very small. Very little room for your bathroom necessities. Otherwise, the hotel has a good bed and the AC works good. I was there in July. There is a fireplace in the room. We didn’t use it so I can’t comment on it. The location of the hotel is the best part of the place. You can walk to many restaurants, a little local grocery store and lots of quaint gift shops. Beautiful town! The flower pots everywhere around town are filled with the most beautiful flowers I’ve seen. Lots to see in the town

Avoid this place like the plague. Was probably once a pristine property but now run by owners who seem to be cutting corners and letting things fall apart while charging $300+ a night. I would also check the mattresses upon checking in as i was bitten by either bed bugs or spiders after staying for 3 days. The rooms are spacious but old carpet, furniture and TVs. The backside of the hotel is next to the train tracks where trains run almost every hour loudly, shaking the room. The screen on the window was bent and damaged allowing insects to enter when opened. One elevator for 4 floors makes for long waits as well. Hotels are expensive in the Banff/Canmore area. Before booking Chateau Canmore do yourself a favor and spend a little extra and avoid this misrrable place.
