A lovely apartment exactly as described in a great location. Be aware that it’s up a hill. Steps take you to the beach in less than 5 minutes, and you’re close to bars and restaurants, but it’s quiet at nice. A nice terrace to enjoy a meal- some sun but nice shade. Be aware of additional charge for linens. Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with host. We would happily come back.

We were two couples staying in this and Isabelle's adjacent apartment, which worked really well for the four of us, although the amenities in this apartment were not up to the standard of the other. Pros: great location, very quiet at night, outdoor dining terrace, good wi fi, big modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. Cons: Some tired furniture including rickety dining chairs; large furniture in the small living room makes it a bit cramped; some worn out kitchen items; very average quality towels and bedding, especially as they are not included. Overall: The pros outweighed the cons and we enjoyed our stay.

Well Designed BeautifulTwo Bedroom

We were thrilled with this place. First, the location is charming. It is a beautiful, secure, well maintained neighborhood set at the top of a hill. Special access is required for any vehicles to get to this area so it is nice and quiet. A quick walk down the side of the hill leads right into the heart of Cannes with restaurants, shopping and the beach. So while you can enjoy the privacy of being a little bit above everything, you are not far from nightlife and action. The apartment is refreshingly beautiful, thoroughly updated and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. We used the spacious outdoor patio frequently. It is secluded and private yet very picturesque and sunny. Several mornings I would take a walk to the nearest local patisserie and bring back some breakfast pastries which we would heat in the oven and eat on the patio. Other mornings we would all walk down to the large local market right at the bottom of the hill, pick up some fruit and eat it with coffee at one of the nearby cafes. It was very helpful that there was a convenience store just around the corner of the apartment for incidentals like toilet paper and snacks. The apartment is beautifully decorated with bright and inviting furniture and flooring. There was plenty of closet and storage space for both my husband and I and our two very large boys. While it took a little learning before we could figure out how to get the right temperature for the shower, we always had hot water and good water pressure (you just have to be patient because there is a delay between when you adjust the knob and when it actually affects the temperature). The mattresses and pillows were good quality, which we much appreciated. Isabella gave very precise directions about how to access the apartment and what she expected for its return which made everything very pleasant for us. The area had friendly people and plenty of things to do. We look forward to returning and when we do, we will definitely look to book this place again.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Kommunikation mit dem EigentĂŒmer sehr gut. Schönes Altbau. Schöne Terrasse. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer könnte ausgetauscht werden, denn es quitscht sehr laut und fĂ€llt auseinander. Die TĂŒrgriffe könnten ebenfalls erneuert werden, sie machen sehr laute GerĂ€usche. Perfekte Lage, toller Aufenthalt

Sehr nette Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Die Wohnung ist in Wirklichkeit etwas kleiner als sie auf den Fotos wirkt. Aber sehr gut gelegen. Sehr ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral. Die Altstadt von Cannes nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Sie mĂŒssen aber damit rechnen, dass wenn man zum Hafen oder zum Strand möchte muss man entweder die Treppen runterlaufen oder einen etwas lĂ€ngeren Umweg nehmen. Der Weg zurĂŒck ist dann bergauf, was fĂŒr manche schon anstrengend sein könnte. Aber fĂŒr uns war es kein Problem. DafĂŒr wohnt man in einer sehr schönen Gegend. Das Apartment an sich brĂ€uchte an einigen Stellen erneuert zu werden. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Wegen Sauberkeit des Apartments gibt’s einen Punktabzug. Ansonsten war alles gut. Vielen Dank!

Appartement calme et idéalement situé

Bel appartement avec une petite terrasse, situĂ© au 1er Ă©tage d'un immeuble. C'Ă©tait calme durant notre sĂ©jour en aout, je pense qu'on a eu la chance d'avoir des voisins calmes Ă©galement . L'appartement correspond entiĂšrement Ă  la description qui en est faite. Il est propre et fonctionnel (sauf peut etre la douche qui nĂ©cessitera un petit temps d'adaptation pour assimiler l'eau chaude et l'eau froide). Conviendra Ă  une famille de 4 personnes, au delĂ  ca risque d'ĂȘtre un peu Ă©troit. La rue Ă©tant uniquement piĂ©tonne, il est cependant possible d'y accĂ©der en voiture durant 30 minutes max pour dĂ©charger vos bagages ou vos courses, en sonnant Ă  un interphone Ă  l'entrĂ©e de la voix piĂ©tonne. La police municipale vous ouvrira Ă  distance. Pour le parking, prĂ©voir de prendre un abonnement au parking du Suquet Ă  environ 400 mĂštres Ă  pied. Au niveau de la situation gĂ©ographique, vous ĂȘtes Ă  proximitĂ© de la plage (8 mn Ă  pied) moyennant un escalier Ă  emprunter pour y aller, mais aussi pour revenir (attention, il y a prĂȘt de 90 marches Ă  remonter quand on revient, ca fait une petite sĂ©ance de sport avant une douche bien mĂ©ritĂ©e) et vous avez tous les restaurants Ă  proximitĂ©, que ce soit au Suquet (je recommande le restaurant "tredici" Ă  40m, les pizzas sont merveilleuses), ou la rue Saint Antoine Ă  5 mn Ă  pied qui vous amĂšne directement au port de Cannes et Ă  la croisette. Vous aurez l'embarras du choix sur votre trajet pour choisir ce qui vous convient. Il y a Ă©galement une petite supĂ©rette de quartier Ă  3 mn Ă  pied, ca peut etre pratique pour des petits appoints. Merci Ă  Isabelle pour ses conseils durant le sĂ©jour. Bien que nous ne l'ayons pas rencontrĂ© directement, elle nous a donnĂ© quelques conseils par tĂ©lĂ©phone et Ă©tait disponible pour nous aider en cas de besoin.

Nice Spring Stay at Le Suquet

Cozy apartment with balcony pour le beaux jours at the heart of Le Suquet, well located, spacious (for three people), and quiet. The communication with Isabelle has been very kind, practical, and effective to address all questions, requests, and small issues. Highly recommended, especially if you like walking as we do (otherwise there is a small electric bus from the Hotel de Ville climbing to the Suquet in a few minutes).
