I should have had VIP access, I had to ask about the room credit for beverages of €39, I complained about our room as it was dark like a dungeon and even though there was a upgrade available I was charged €315 to change room, Expedia then offered me the option to upgrade to the same room for €205 after I had paid as the hotel Insists on card details,city tax upfront, then when I asked for some more coffee in the room we used the 4 pods over 4 days and I was charged €3 per pod, the staff were pretty friendly but still it felt like they wanted to draw every possible penny from you… breakfast was really poor, there were coach trips staying from Germany and breakfast was chaos, we stayed a week and the last bit one day there was no coach tour stating and we came down to an amazing breakfast which was strange there were French toast pancakes brioche .. extra charcuterie jams spreads coffee pods for a machine, then the last day it was the same so I asked why and was told the touts pay €4 for breakfast and we paid €20 so rather than give the tour too much we had to pay €16 extra each day and they seem to feel this was acceptable…all in all this should not be a VIP property as you definitely do not get any extra… feel totally financially abused by this property that we went to for our tenth wedding anniversary

Other than Laurent the entire staff were cold and non accommodating! No services at all, 1- parking was a disaster with a 30 euro a day charge 2- did not replace cups or coffee in the room after first day. Even a motel gives free coffee ??? Such a disgrace ! 3- no one answers front desk by telephone 4- 6 euro a day charge to get a towel at swimming pool, room towels not allowed 4- room towels were only changed upon request 5- No facial tissue box provided had to use toilet paper. That is not even a one star motel 6- no cups provided 7- parking at their garage was almost impossible without causing damage. The space was so tight. 8- shampoos and soap were not replaced in our premium room 9- falsely advertised the Croisette was 5 minute walk it was a 15 to 20 minute walk about 15 blocks in 90% heat 10- the neighborhood was not safe 11- the hotel was right next to rail station and a busy highway. With a lot of city noise This is a far cry from a 4 star hotel or an 8 rating I give max 2 star and a 3 rating. Avoid and stay away!!!

Wonderful hotel. Quiet and comfortable. The pool was great for cooling off. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English very well. It is very close to the train and bus station-only 5 min walk. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of choices.

Impressed by the quality and cleanliness of this hotel. Everything is newly renovated in the rooms. Its quiet and cool and comfortable in the rooms. Lovely pool for taking a dip. Short walk to the buzz of bars and restos in Cannes. Will stay again!

This is a great option for Cannes. It is close to the train station and it a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms have veen recently renovated so were very nice and the air-conditioning worked very well. It had a balcony to sit out and shutters to keep the noise out at night. The shower was very strange being over a bath and one that had to be held to use which was a bit inconvenient, but other than that it was newly decorated so very nice. The pool area was great to have, though you have to bring your own towels or rent them from the hotel, which is a bit unusual. The staff were very helpful with our luggage both on arrival and departure as there are a set of stairs at the entrance. Overall I thinkbthis hotel is a great option for Cannes.

I like the place but I didn’t feel like the value was there for the amount it cost per night. I didn’t like that it had a community ironing room (as opposed to a iron in the room or even a iron that could be bought to the the room) I’m 6 foot 2 so the loft type room had me walking around ducking. Like I said the place was cool but the value wasn’t there for the price. Do t get me wrong if I needed to go to Cannes and it was the only place available I might stay there again but not if the price is what is was when I went this time.

Beautiful french hotel, it has been restored to make it a modern and functional hotel with keeping its french charm. Rooms lovely and clean and fresh. Pool area immaculate. Location is perfect for visiting Cannes, a short stroll across the road and you are in amongst the shops, bars and restaurants with the beach a stones throw away. Would return to this hotel again.

Excellent area, walking distance to the designer shops, shopping, and restaurants. Rooms are pretty small but clean. Good bedding. Staff are helpful. Only issues are the showers have only the hand shower, no head shower. Also rooms have no tea or coffee machine, and you will have to pay for every coffee or tea you get from the hotel. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Nice stay

Staff was very polite and helpful. Hôtel is in a perfect location to walk to the train station and shopping / dining. Hôtel is smaller- I appreciated that the gate with the small parking lot was closed for safety measures, but it did make entering the hotel with a stroller a little tricky. Shower would leak but didn’t prevent it from working. Did not have hot water our last day. Would stay again just not in our room with stairs to the loft.

The pool area was beautiful and a nice break from the heat. Would have liked the air conditioning a bit cooler. The breakfast was great.
