We enjoyed staying at this Premier Inn which was a 10 minute walk into town. The room was clean and spacious. The meals were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and it was £10 a night. We would stay again.

Had never stayed at a premier inn before so wasn’t aware of some of the strange rules like going down to reception each morning to ask for our room to be cleaned the same day, this was just plain stupid and by day 2 one of the staff kindly added this to our entire booking. The parking was painful as if you went out late you couldn’t get a park even though they make you pay for all the parking when you arrive, but again a staff member talked to Pizza Hutt and they let us park there a night. Breakfast ok, staff in restaurant very friendly, overall an ok experience.supermarket next door and across road and hotel right in town, very walkable. Ps staff that cleaned room were also super friendly!

Comfortable stay

Room was big enough for 3 person, cleaned well. The wifi was not steady but we could use anyway. Parking was too limited we used public car park 10 min walking from hotel.

There was a huge parking debacle when we arrived, no one at the reception desk, except for two kiosks that said in big words “out of order”. Then we were told in order to park there we needed a UK telephone number and we are from the US so that wasn’t possible. The signs in the parking area were ambiguous and not helpful at all… And all the trash and rubbish in that area was particularly offputting. It took about 35 minutes to actually find someway to park and check into the room. When we tried to order dinner from the menu in the room we were told only about seven options were available off of the entire menu. We weren’t told ahead of time that the rooms would not be serviced unless we requested it so on our second day we were careful to requested, but the next day we were told they were busy cleaning the second floor and would not get to ours. No service. Shameful.
