The Coyote Cabin is at a beautiful spot. We observed longhorns and pronghorns right outside the cabin. The Palo Duro State Park is just 1.5 miles down the road. It is small but has everything you need for a nice stay. The hosts provided very accurate information.

The cabin is very small, but that is clearly stated in the description. We were looking for a place very close to Palo Duro state park, and this is less than a mile away. It was rustic, but there are several cabins on-site, so you don't feel alone. The grounds around the cabin enhanced the living area. We went to the town of Canyon for dinners. It was not too far away and the 75mph speed limit on the road between the cabin and town helped us get there quickly. Tracy responded very quickly to all of our questions before we got there.
Inside the cabin.
The deck on the side of the cabin.
Looking towards the cabin.
The sign identifying the cabin. We actually did see a real cayote one morning on the short drive to the state park.

The cabin was tiny, adorable and very clean. The parking area is clearly marked and organized. The cabin also has 3 outdoor seating options. The proximity to Palo Duro Canyon can't be beat. The cabin is also well equipped with a tiny coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Bed, pillows, linens and towels were good quality and in good shape. The host left a few snacks out. The TV pulls in some streaming services. There is a binder of reference information for the area. Be sure to store your food and scented toiletries like toothpaste in the fridge. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

As we walked up to the door, we noticed a cleaning brush on the floor in front of the door. There were cleaning products on the counter top and a broom and mop leaning against the wall. There was a candy wrapper on the floor. We understand that the cabin was small, but we were unable to bring two suitcases in because there was no room. The location, however, is exceptional.

Perfect for our one night stay! Loved the location could not have been more ideal. Our one year old was absolutely thrilled when he saw the long horn eating literally right of the deck. Would definitely stay here again on a family trip.

The cabin was perfect! It was 1.5 miles from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon, and a minute from the Sad Monkey Mercantile which has great coffee! The cabin has a great porch that overlooked a field with several longhorns! There is a nice outdoor eating area and a front sitting area.We will definitely request to stay should we return to the area!

Everything was as advertised. Host was friendly. The place was clean. The only negative was the Roku kept going off. We finally had to give up trying to watch tv.

The location is 1.5 miles from the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The location is quiet and has nice scenery. We enjoyed watching the sunrise as the cabin has a porch facing east. We also enjoyed star gazing. We drove down to the State Park and toured it. WOW, what a beautiful canyon in the park. This cabin is a tiny cabin but two people can move around quite easily if you aren't too large. The cabin doesn't have a stove so the only way you can cook is in the microwave or use the BBQ pit outside. It also has a tiny refrigerator like in a hotel. The bathroom doesn't have a sink or vanity. You must use the sink in the little kitchen area. This wasn't a big deal for my husband & I because we went out to eat for breakfast & ate sandwiches for lunch & dinner. We were only there for two nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay because we were wanting time away from the hustle & bustle of the world. We found the quiet restorative to our souls. I would highly recommend the Coyote Cabin at Palo Duro for one or two people wanting to get away for a while.

Great location

Location was excellent for those visiting Palo Duro Canyon. Cabin was small, but there was room enough for the two of us. Manager had small basket of goodies for us which was a nice touch!

Nice but very small

Another review said you better like the one you are with here because it is close togetherness. It was fine since we were out and about most of the time. The things we did not realize was the no sink in the bathroom and no ice or a way to keep any. There is a small fridge and I assumed it would have some kind of freezer but no. So be prepared for that. We did enjoy the very nice deck outside with the full moon and animals in the pasture. Good value for the price.

1.5 miles from the entry to Palo Duro CanyonPark entrance. Delightfully quiet. Comfortable, safe. Owners communicated with me promptly and completely. No confusion with which cabin it was, nor how to get in. Small, but good for 2 folks. Clean.
