This is an outstanding property in all respects. Excellent location on the water with beautiful views. The rooms are suites with kitchen and lounging areas apart from the bedroom and bathroom in excellent condition and very clean. We absolutely loved our stay at Coral Sands Inn and Seaside Cottages in beautiful Ormond Beach! The Matlacha was a pleasant surprise of a visually appealing understated accommodation. The design elements of the rooms, grounds and amenities were optimal for how they upgraded the basics of the building and grounds. The bed was so comfortable and stylish for a badic hotel room. The pool and kayaks were a pleasant plus for such a small boutique motel. Only negatives were the taste of its tap water and no luggage rack(s) for our suitcases. The Matlavha is in a beautiful neighborhood which gives it an upscale vibe. If we return to the area, we will hopefully have additional times to enjoy their hospitality.
