VRCC Villa Summer Breeze

Villa Summer Breeze is located in the southernmost corner of Cape Coral near the Cape Harbor. It is one of the best and most sought after residential areas in Cape Coral. Shops, doctors, pharmacies, etc. are within walking distance or can be reached with the available bicycles.

Our villa was extensively renovated in 2020. All furniture and appliances are new. The pool area has also been redesigned and now offers complete privacy. In addition, the pool is equipped with a solar system and pool cover to keep energy costs low.

From the elegant, light-flooded living room (with 60'LCD + DVD player) you can enjoy the view of the large pool and the tropical garden. The sliding glass doors can both be opened completely, so that there is a great inside-outside feeling.

In addition to the large master bedroom (42'LCD) with a king size bed and walk-in closet, there is a queen-size bed in the 2nd bedroom and two twin beds in the 3rd bedroom.

In the master bedroom there is the large bathroom with double vanity and spacious shower. You have direct access to the pool from the guest toilet with bathtub.

You also have pool views from the completely new kitchen with oven, stove with ceramic hob, fridge with ice dispenser and microwave.

There is direct access to the pool from the living room, dining room, master bedroom and the guest toilet.

Furthermore, free WiFi is available throughout the house.

There are no cons to this property, but I’d love to highlight some of the perks. The kitchen is stocked with dishes/pots/pans etc. it’s a drip coffee maker so don’t pick up pods at the store:) Publix is down the street so you can grab what you need. Plenty of towels (pool towels as well)! It’s close to everything but still in a nice quiet neighborhood. Management company if very helpful and communicative as needed. Everything looked and worked as advertised. If you like a soft mattress the master bed is very soft, but if you like a firmer mattress one of the guest bedrooms works just fine! Bring your own toiletries and pick up some necessary sundries on your way, but you have everything there you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Very clean!!! Great experience all around. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for my needs. The house is in need of minor maintenance, and more frequent or better bug service. I am born and raised in Florida and am well aware of the expectation of bugs, this was a daily battle. The house had everything I could have needed and the furnishings were very nice. The local mgmt co did their best to remedy the issues, but it was never quite resolved.

Perfect house for a quick getaway

This house had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area was amazing not only to relax, but also to get some work done in the sunshine. The WiFi had excellent connection and there was no lag in any teams calls I was on. The neighborhood and surrounding area is nice, quiet and VERY close to a Publix. The check in process was different than any other I’ve experienced before, but still very appreciated. The property manager came over to make sure everything was in working order. I really enjoyed my stay, felt safe on my first mostly solo trip, and was assured that any issues (if there were any, which there were not) would be addressed promptly and professionally. I even had a number that I could text if I needed anything. The only feedback/advice I have for future guests is to bring a laptop/iPad if you like to watch tv/movies. The tv and streaming situation isn’t great.

This property was great for a vacation! Not too far from attractions in the area and is in a quiet area. Loved the pool and being able to lounge in the screened in pool area. Very spacious interior and was very happy with it overall. Would definitely stay here again!

Property was ok. No hot water until the next day at 1pm. Maintenance man, can't remember his name but he was really great help. Back sliding glass doors wouldn't lock so he fixed that also. Only a few local channels on tv. No netflix and internet had u tube but kept pausing the whole time. No hot water the morning of check out again so had to ride home dirty. I was shovy the maintenance man how to fix it but checkout was 10 and no time for water to heatup. Only used one bedroom and one bathroom so everything else was clean

I couldn’t even begin to list all the things that were wrong. But just a few washer didn’t work, sliding glass doors to pool didn’t work had cracks in glass and we were afraid to open them a leaking toilet no hot water. I could keep going. But most of all when we reported it the management didn’t seem to care.

Clean home in a quiet neighborhood

This 3 BR home has 1 King, 1 Queen (not 2 Kings as advertised) and 2 twins. It is a very nice, clean house with a private pool. The kitchen was very well equipped and had almost everything we required. You will need extra paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper. There are absolutely no instructions for operating the television and although there was an HDMI cable, there was no clear way to make it work. There were no instructions about garbage pickup either. The garage is not accessible to renters. I would stay in this house again.

We made the best of it

We arrived at 11 and asked for early check in and was told would need to pay $75 to check in then or I could wait til 2 for no fee. Waited until 2 & went back and was told I would need to pay 75 or wait until 4. They didn’t know who I spoke to earlier. But we would have done an activity if I knew we would have to wait to more hours. The property is not fixed all the way from Ian. There are brown stains on several ceilings, the screen fence is no longer there so you will have lots of bugs in the pool. The sliding doors are broken. We were not told to open them and it almost fell on my husband. Thankfully when I called the property manager she advised she knew it was broken and would send someone to fix it. The maintenance person came the next day and screwed the door together so it won’t open at all. I wasn’t aware that we would be responsible for the electricity. There was only 1 wash cloth even though the reservation was for 2 people for a week. There is no hot water in the 2nd bathroom. The bathroom window in the master is broken and I assume that is where the lizards kept coming in. Check out was at 10 but they were knocking on the door a few minutes after 9 and I asked her multiple times to give us until 10 since I was not even dressed. She reluctantly agreed. We did enjoy sitting out back and the pool. The majority of our time was spent at beaches which was why our trip was good.

The description and photos are misleading. Photo lens and filters make home look larger inside and more extravagant. There were no blinds on one of the front glass doors and no blinds on the entire glass wall leading to pool. Anchor holes in wall where mirror used to hang in living room. Shower door sticks excessively making it difficult to get out. Bathroom window doesn’t lock, safety concern. Pool was dirty with mulch in bottom and algae on sides. Large blue plastic wadded up lying in backyard. No privacy in backyard. No bicycles accessible. Restaurants approximately 4-5 miles away. Many pieces of furniture different than pictures. One of the glass panels was loose and could easily be pushed out of frame. Door code didn’t work, took 20 minutes for property manager to call us back. PM stated she would be by the next day to show us how things worked at 10 am. Didn’t show up until after 2 and never called or texted she was running late. We felt her coming by at all was intrusive. By the time she arrived we were annoyed that she was there, that she was late and didn’t call, and that there were so many issues with the house. We stated all the concerns listed above and asked what her purpose in being there in person was. She stated it was to welcome us and to check us in. We checked in online. She also checked the grill propane tanks to see if they were full. That should have been done before our arrival. She left abruptly because we were questioning her purpose in being there and stating all of our issues with the house. She said she was sending someone by to fix glass panel even though we asked her to wait until we left. However, they never did. She was unprofessional and rude. Not worth the extra charge for electricity used, or dealing with intrusive PM and other issues listed.

Nice home but far from everything

This home was very clean and comfortable. Nice neighborhood. Further from Ft Meyers and Naples than we thought. Took a while to get on and off the island. The pool was too cold to use and not heated Overall fine, just not right for us since we need a more central location to go to Naples, Sanibel etc

Good home with some minor issues

The home was spacious and is conveniently located closer to restaurants and grocery stores. There were a couple of issues. The master bedroom mattress is past its prime. It sinks in on one side. There was a very strong stagnated smell when we entered the property and we soon realized that it was due to washer that wasn’t cleaned ever. The stay became better once we cleaned the washer. The pool water temperature was little cold for our comfort. The home is beautiful and we had a decent stay. Kids had a few toys to play with and they loved their bedroom .The property manager was great too!

Easy access from RSW airport and utilizing Uber. Very thorough outline of do’s and don’t’s of property - may be helpful to have starter items (e.g. - specific laundry soap desired in machines and cooking staples for the kitchen.) Obtaining property company’s number prior to arrival was very helpful, especially during a tropical storm. Pool was fabulous and the bed in the master very comfortable. Neighborhood is wonderful to walk around. A mile walk from grocery store and restaurants. A variety of bikes were included, but a few lacked care (flat tires and stuck seat setting.)

Winter getaway

We enjoyed the house layout and pool. Property management was very responsive to a plumbing problem when we first arrived in the guest shower and later with problem with air conditioner. Kitchen was well stocked and washer and dryer worked really well. We thought the pool did not look very clean and outdoor patio needed to be cleaned with probably power washer but overall it was a great house in excellent location in quiet and safe location!
