STUNNING property. They're planning on finishing their upgrades and even with an older wing stay it was a truly beautiful stay. Only con was the wifi was not ideal. It was spotty and sometimes outright not working. Other than that grounds, staff, restaurant were TOP TIER

La Mer is a lovely hotel and its location, directly across from the beach, can't be beat. The employees are very helpful.

Good for families; beach service needs work

Had family members split across the renovated and non-renovated towers, and the newly renovated rooms are definitely top notch. The facility all in all is very nice, and on the quieter north side Cape May, but there are a few service areas that need work. 1. While food and bev service is offered on the beach, only one individual is taking orders AND running food, leading to long times to order and receive your items. There will be four people putting up umbrellas and chairs: midday i would shift two of those folks to be food runners to help expo food and bev service. 2. Despite having a room service and decline room service sign, at 2pm one of the days our room was still not cleaned even though it was across the hall from housekeeping office on our floor.

I was surprised how La Mer team is doing great job. La Mer has option to get food on the beach from 11am-5pm. They are giving their own chairs, umbrellas, towels on the beach for their guests for your convenient. Also, on the property live music from 6pm-9pm. For guests convenience they have in rent so many amenities like: bikes, beach cars, golf cars... La Mer has good restaurant. Rooms are good and clean, has all amenities which need to stay there.

I wish the service by the pool and beach was better. It was very slow. Some of the staff were not engaging and it seemed like you were bothering them when you asked them a question. The restaurant opened at 8am And there was no coffee other than a Kureg in your room. The location was good and the rooms were clean.

I like the location. The only downside was that we were in an unrenovated room (which I knew before hand) but was told at the front desk that they will be completing renovations over the winter. The pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom fan didn't work. But all in all, we had a great time.

located across the street from the beach. service on the beach was excellent, the gave you a lounge, umbrella and towel. food and drinks could be ordered from the beach.
