Pam and Steve were kind, helpful, and generous hosts, possibly some of the nicest we've come across. The location is fantastic — right at the top of Camps Bay in a very safe neighbourhood, with beautiful mountain views behind and far-reaching sea views and beautiful sunsets. Ubers into Camps Bay were easy and reliable, usually around £2–£3. The accommodation itself was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped with lots of thoughtful provisions. There are some steep steps down to the property and back up again, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you have heavy luggage - easier with two people (thanks for your help Steve). The lounge and balcony can get quite hot in the afternoon sun, but the bedroom has effective air conditioning that helps keep things cool and comfortable.

We stayed at Cape Rose Cottage for 10 nights and can honestly say we would not stay anywhere else when visiting Cape Town again! Steve & Pam welcomed us with open arms from day one and we’re nothing but exceptional hosts throughout! The room was spotlessly clean, well stocked with toiletries, amenities and breakfast replenished daily. Pam was also kind enough to provide us with a fruit salad and a meat and cheese platter daily, which was delicious! The views from our room (Lavendar room) were breathtaking! We will miss waking up to the peaceful ocean view, and also watching the beautiful sunset. The pool area is very peaceful and relaxing and so is the lounge area with the honesty bar and spectacular views. We used Uber to get around Cape Town which is the cheapest and easiest way to travel about if you’re not driving. We cannot find any faults with this beautiful cottage, and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We already miss it! Very comfortable guesthouse/B&B

The cottage is set up a hill just away from the main ‘strip’ of Camps Bay but within walking distance of a restaurant and a 5 minute Uber ride of the strip. The rooms and facilities were thought through with every need catered for before you even get there - nothing has been overlooked. Our hosts were lovely and gave us absolute privacy but were there immediately when we needed them. Access to all the sights and places to visit is easy from here as you are ina very central location. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage.

Sehr schönes Guesthouse mit grandiosem Blick auf den Ozean. Die Gastgeber Steve und Pam waren sehr nett und hilfreich, das Zimmer sowie Bad sehr sauber. Einzig das Frühstück war für diese Preisklasse enttäuschend. Verglichen mit anderen Guesthouses war es sehr dürftig und sollte auch in der Beschreibung bereits als self catering ausgewiesen werden.

Best place to stay in Cape Town

It was a fantastic stay at the Rose Cottage. Great host who helped out with everything, great super clean room. Wonderful central location with a fantastic view. I a n only recommend to stay there!

Kleines, gepflegtes, privat geführtes Guesthouse

Kleines sehr ruhig gelegenes Guesthouse in Camps Bay / Cap Town. Die beiden Besitzer Pam und Steve sind sehr hilfsbereit und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir erhielten viele Tips für Unternehmungen oder Restaurants. Die Unterkunft liegt ca.25 Gehminuten vom Strand und ca. 20 Fahrminuten von Downtown entfernt. Zum Tafelberg sind es ca. 10 Minuten. Parkplätze stehen kostenfrei zur Verfügung.
