Dekraal Country Lodge-great location .

The setting is wonderful, the pool area & garden walks divine. Our room was spacious & had a good sized deck area outside.Bed linen was clean & fresh. The bathroom needed updating & was not very clean ie. window ledges were dusty & grout from the tiles lined the edge of the bath. I had to ask for a hairdryer. Breakfast took a long time on the first morning , the 2 inexperienced staff struggled to provide us with a cup of coffee saying they had only one pot & there were 2 other people wanting coffee at the same time! The English Breakfast, however, was well cooked when it arrived. We enjoyed our stay but felt that the place needed a bit of TLC. around the edges.
