I had a very bad experience with a staff at the bar who was very rude. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and very helpful. If not for them I would’ve rated staff and serve as horrible! The rooms are very comfortable and neat. I love the rooms. They are luxurious indeed. I noticed my sheets were not changed in a week! I thought this was really bad!! There’s some construction work going on opposite the hotel and this is beyond their control I guess but it makes the front of the hotel dirty and too noisy.

Unfortunately, there is MAJOR construction directly across the street that begins at 7am -- even on the weekends. The stay was perfection, except for that dream of finally getting to sleep in :/

Great hotel, nice area, reasonable rates

Purely a gem. I was concerned about staying in a hotel in the Bo Kaap area. Everything was terrific beginning with the staff that couldn’t do enough for us, the room was large and very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well. The area was quite convenient for restaurants and activities. The area was quite safe for Cape Town. Breakfast was yummy. There’s also a shuttle to the V&A waterfront. We will be back soon!
