Welcome to the Cherry Cottage - a stylish 2 bedroom, 1 bath beach bungalow that sleeps (5) and nestled in the heart of the Capitola village.  The Cherry Cottage is walking distance to many shops and restaurant's, and one of the region's favorite surfing destinations in Capitola!  The house is perfect location if your kids are enrolled are in Capitola Junior Guards this summer - just a straight shot to the beach and less than a 5 minute walk.



The Cherry Cottage features new laminate floors, front and back patio seating areas for sunbathing and outdoor meals, a new claw-foot bathtub, glass enclosed shower, a chef's kitchen complete with elegant granite counter tops, cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, and high quality cookware.  There is a large flat screen television in the living area with Netflix and Amazon streaming, high-speed wireless Internet.   The master bedroom features a pyramid bed - which has a full mattress on the bottom and a twin bed on the top - perfect for your family of 5.   Thoughtful touches are noticeably throughout the house, including a window bench with colorful throw pillows, contemporary seating for up to 6 in the main living area, bar seating at granite kitchen counter and more.   Park your car in designated areas in Capitola with the parking pass provided, and walk everywhere from this central spot

Perfect beach house!!

This house is PERFECT for a capitola beach stay! It’s only 2 blocks from the beach and tucked back on a small side street far enough to not get all the noise and crowds walking around! Has everything you might need. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to vacation at the capitola beach!

Perfect location!

Great house! Everything one would need! Perfect location to everything Capitola! Our family lives up the “hill” on Cabrillo Street and it was a super fast walk up through the neighborhood and school yard!!! Such a great spot- nice neighborhood with friendly locals too. Parking is beastly- so beware! Especially with the summer crowd but if you wear the right kicks- it’s all good!! Walking is best, right? 😁 Just some food for thought- update the binder as the check in and check out time are misrepresented- we noticed that first thing after checking in the house. Thanks so much for the great spot! Can’t wait to come again- this time just a mom and dad trip! Ha!

Stay in Capitola

The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood very close to downtown. However, we were jot aware of all the concrete steps leading to the property. We are 70+ In years and it was very difficult for two ladies in our group to get up and down those steps. Also, the street parking was a nightmare. On one occasion I had to drive around for 45 minutes looking for a spot. I do not recommend this rental for the “ older age group”.

Beautiful, Clean Home!

Very clean home with everything you need to feel like your at home. You only need to bring a suitcase! It's walking distance to many restaurants and one of our most loved bakery's Gayles. Liz at Beachnest properties was very responsive and Brenna was always available to answer questions.
