Beach Villa 2112 - Renovated one bedroom gulf front condo

Beach Villa 2112 is a completely renovated one-bedroom/one bathroom direct gulf front condo. Our 2nd-floor walk-up condo features a spacious living room with a queen sleeper sofa, dining area, and full kitchen. The screened lanai is off the living room and faces directly out to the Gulf of Mexico. You can stare out over the courtyard to the beach and see the world-famous Captiva Island sunsets every day. Rest and relax in our newly furnished bedroom with a king-sized bed. There is one full bathroom just off the hallway nearby. In the living room, there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a full Murphy bed for additional guests. We've also added a washer and dryer in the unit for extra convenience. We also provide beach towels. The Beach Villas complex is great in that it has its heated pool (2 others on site as well), tennis, BBQ, high-speed wireless internet, and beach access. As the Beach Villas are located at the South End of the resort, even though you won't have access to the resort amenities, you can easily get to the shops and restaurants in the Captiva Village area. Please note that our condo building doesn't have an elevator, so you will need to go up a flight of stairs. Also, as we are privately managed, you won't have full resort amenity access, which includes any resort restaurants, shops, the main pool with slide at North End, the golf course, trolley service, and any other resort amenities. Even without that, you have access to so much more in the Captiva Village area, save up to 50% or more compared to resort rates, and never pay a resort fee!

Important Notes

Private Management
This condo is privately managed and not affiliated with the resort. Guests do not have access to resort amenities. A paid laundry facility is available on the ground level.

Beach Gear
Beach chairs and umbrellas are not included. Instead, your stay includes a VayKLife credit for beach essentials such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons, and more. Delivery is included. On-site availability cannot be guaranteed. Your booking confirmation includes a link to redeem your credit.

Construction & Maintenance
Currently, there are no ongoing repairs or construction within the resort. Should any occur during your stay, refunds will not be issued for disruptions caused by maintenance or repairs beyond our control.

Storm Impacts
Due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, access to some amenities may be limited during your stay.

Pool Closure
The pool will be closed starting January 5, 2026.  This closure is expected to last one (1) month. The other two pools at the Beach Villas will remain open and available to guests. One is in front of the 2300 building, and the other is in front of the  2500 building.

This was a very nice and clean place for our family of four. Not a great gulf view (somewhat obstructed) but was a short walk to a beautiful beach! Kids enjoyed the pools, and the pull out beds worked for our family. I do think for what we pay that the owner should equip the property with more than one roll of toilet paper, 1 trash bag, and one tiny bottle of 2-in-1 shamp/conditioner - which is what we expect and receive whenever we travel in vrbo’s, so this felt a little skimpy to have to buy these items. Check-in at 4pm is a bit late (and checkout at 10am a tad early) but I didn’t subtract stars for this, as we were provided an early check-in at 2pm at the last minute which was great. However, the one bath tub was clogged upon arrival, with no water draining. The prop management company responded quickly and fixed this while we went to dinner. In addition, we went to shower one day before lunch time to meet some family and friends for lunch, and to our surprise the water was turned off to the entire condo for about two hours. A little heads up or planning would have been appreciated, as this put a damper on our day and was unexpected.Overall, this is a great place to stay and if it fits your budget, I would recommend this stay; however, we are likely to explore one of the resorts to our next trip to Captiva/Sanibel!

Clean, comfortable and nice location. Everything that we needed was provided (sheets, pillows, kitchen utensils, laundry, etc.). Easy check-in/check-out and easy communication with the property owner/manager. Spent the week watching sunsets and star-gazing on the beach. Great vacation!

Nice condo, pretty beach

Everything was clean and neat. Plenty of towels. Enjoyed having a rental service deliver umbrellas and chairs! Location was nice and just a short walk to the pretty, uncrowded beach. A few things to know-you’ll have to buy your own toilet paper and paper towels and toiletries including soap, shampoo, conditioner as they only provide enough for a few days. They could definitely do better than this. Nearest grocery store is in Sanibel. Pool has no shaded area which for me is a must. Walks are thin and you can hear everything. Air conditioning is so loud! Construction from early am to sundown was a noisy bummer when sitting on the porch. Overall, not bad, just a few annoyances to contend with. Such a pretty area of FL and we did enjoy the stay.

Last minute long w

My wife and I came down for a last minute trip to escape the tough winter weather in Upstate New York. A welcome respite. The place is great for 2 people-overlooking the beach and pool. Could be a little tight if you had more people. Clean, updated and easy walking distance to town. Captiva is still in a rebuilding mode after the two hurricanes last fall but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Spent most of our time at the pool or walking the beach.

We stayed 5 nights in mid December and temperatures were 80F daytime and 65F night so it was really pleasant. This unit is waterfront with views of the ocean. The unit was recently renovated and was clean. The beach is beautiful and about a 200 foot walk from the unit. There are several exterior swimming pools but didn’t use them. Great place and would stay there again.

Short trip to Paradise

Stayed in this beautiful condo for a last minute trip in September. Very well appointed, with everything I needed and more! The complex is still undergoing renovation, but very little noise with the work. The condo is right along the gulf, and an easy walk to the front of the complex to the Starbucks and grocery store. Loved the flexibility with a shorter length of stay and will definitely be back. Dream Vacation was very easy to work with - and easy to reach with any questions.

The owners were easy to contact and had emailed a few times during our stay to see if all was well, which it was. It was actually nice to have the owner reach out as most do not. We stayed in this area a few years ago prior to the hurricanes. This property is in great condition, well furnished, and on the beach. Surrounding properties are still being renovated but don't let that stop you from enjoying Sanibel / Captiva as there is still plenty to do there. It still has that "Old Florida" feel to it, which as a Floridian is the best compliment one can give.

Beautiful Condo in the perfect location

This is our third time staying in the beach villas at South Seas in Captiva, but first time in this condo. It was so good to be back after Hurricane Ian. The owners have done an amazing job at bringing the property back even better than before Ian. We loved the condo, location, and communication with the property managers was superb! The only complaint we have is the description of the beach gear provided. The host only provides a credit to a company that will deliver the gear of your choice. While the credit covers more than enough gear you would need, it does not cover the delivery fee which was about $150! This should be clearly communicated before the arrival in our opinion. We ended up renting 2 chairs from Yolo for $60 for the week, and luckily a previous renter had left an umbrella we were able to use. This just caused a little hiccup in our stay, but could have been avoided with clearer expectations. Overall it was a fantastic week in our favorite spot in Florida!

Great Stay!

The unit is amazing, so clean and updated and truly has everything you need. We saw some reviews that talked about light in the bedroom which was a non-issue at all for us. The property is undergoing some fixing from the hurricane which didn’t bother us at all. We walked a round a ton and went out into Captiva and walked the streets. It was a little cold so we didn’t go to the beach or the pools but they are both literally right outside the door. Our only minor complaint which is a personal preference thing would be the bed was uncomfortable for us. It squeaked a lot and almost needed maybe a box spring or better mattress because it dipped a lot in the center, and when someone moved it woke the other person - but some people may like that. We like a more firm memory foam type of bed so this wasn’t great for us. But all in all, the place was perfect!

Birthday Weekend Post Ian

We have been visiting Captiva at South Seas for over 25 years. We decided to visit to celebrate my husband's birthday, shell and support what businesses are open on the island post Ian. There is a lot of activity getting the island back into shape which was nice to see. The condo was perfect for the two of us. Well appointed and nicely decorated. Great to have beach chairs and towels. We paid it forward and left a small cooler with the beach chairs. It's a very short walk to the beach. One reviewer commented about the outside light shining in the bedroom, it is a bit of an annoyance. Advise picking up bug spray for the No Seeums, we were prepared but one short walk to the beach at dusk and forgetting to spray was a lessoned learned! We love the charm of Captiva.
