Welcome to The Gatehouse at Mathern Palace, a beautifully restored Grade II listed cottage set within peaceful palace grounds near Chepstow providing modern, luxury comforts.

Perfect for families and countryside lovers, this historic retreat offers a private garden, year-round six-seater hot tub, and stunning Palace views surrounded by ancient magnolia trees. Our local pub - The Millers Arms - is within walking distance offering family friendly, home-cooked food.

Downstairs, you’ll find a bright open-plan bespoke kitchen, dining, and living area, ideal for family meals and relaxed evenings together. Various breakout spaces have been considered to offer quiet spots to read, unwind, or work remotely.

Outside, a private wraparound garden and year-round hot tub & BBQ provide the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. Upstairs, three spacious en-suite bedrooms ensure comfort, privacy, and restful sleep for all guests.
