Great Location in Cardwell

Great spot for Ocean views out the front & walk along the foreshore to the pub & Main Street. Simply & comfortable accompation. Full Wash & Dry for $10 on site.

Don't be fooled by the outside, doesn't look flash, but the room was clean, tidy, freshly painted and well presented. Queen bed was comfy, big sliding door with security screen made it airy. Clean hot shower, soft towels. It has Microwave,cups, bowls, plates and cutlery. We booked literally last minute arriving about 30mins after booking about 6pm, so was no special time to prepare. Right across from the beach and about 10min walk into town. It was a surprise.

It was just after midnight, a couple of teenager boys were jump into the swimming pool at the motel loudly. I yealed them and got them left. Anyone able to access the swimming pool even migningt, I thought the pool need to be locked during after hours.

View of water was not beach front but at sde. Curtains in the room were mouldy. Room had no window except in bathroom which was so tiny - only a metre wide. Door to room opened onto verandah also approx a metre wide and people walked past to get to the front to see the view so no privacy at all. Would have been better off in a caravan - go to Beachcomber where rooms do face the water!!
