No Hot water when we arrived. It is ON the highway. Very noisy. It also smelled and the pool deck was too dirty to swim.

Have stayed here a few times. The room was clean and was what was expected. The common areas are in dire need of attention. Hallway carpets look like they haven't been swept in days. Stairwell carpets the same. Cobwebs thick in the lights in the stairwells. Was hoping to relax in the pool. Chairs in the pool area are stained, dirty. Pool water was cold, not even close to being lukewarm, so very disappointed. I know there are smoking rooms but as we were walking down the hall to our room, you could smell what was being smoked in the smoking rooms (not tobacco) and it filled the hallway. We stay in Carlisle at least once, twice per year, always using this hotel. Country Inn & Suites, you need to step it up. I will pay a little more for a clean hotel, swimmable pool and one that doesn't smell.

The hotel floors were neglected looks like they weren’t vacuumed for weeks. Our room both beds had hair on a pillow and on our second night we found a bug in the bathroom crawling on the sink. Besides that the breakfast good and staff were nice.

The freezer in the refrigerator was so iced up I couldn't get a water bottle in it, and more water went down the drain than to the shower head. Other than that our stay was excellent.

hotel feels like it is literally on the highway and you can't avoid the traffic noise. breakfast was just ok, the watery eggs were an appetite killer. biggest problem though was no hot water. manager gave us a full refund but still a tough way to start the day.
