Peaceful vacation

My stay was good, this was our second time staying at this hotel and again the staff were friendly & professional. My son loves staying at this hotel & wants us to stay there again next year for his annual Spring Break trip. He especially loves the heated pool.

Rooms were decent, the floor needs a good sweeping & mopping. Lost of dust debris behind the curtains, corners of room which grossed me out. Our room faces the 5fwy which at night was very loud. If I had known I would have requested to face the other side of the building facing the Flower Fields. We requested housekeeping service which they did not do. I was told it was due to being short staffed that didn’t help the negative way I was already feeling about the property. Over decent property you get what you pay for.

Overall rating is 1 star out of 5. The telephone in the room is not working. Furniture broken. Some staff member tried to scam me by charging $40 on my credit card in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. Got a notification that it was declined because of invalid cvv code entry. Bought this up to the general manager attention three times, and he never did anything about it. Do not recommend this hotel.

The room itself was pleasant, beds comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was unclean, though, with stuff on the wall. Also wasn’t well stocked with cups, toilet paper or coffee. Was unaware that you needed to specify you wanted to have the room cleaned with the front desk so constantly had to call the front desk for the essentials. It served our purpose but will not stay here again.

I had a hard time with this review ONLY because the staff was very sweet and kind to us. But the hotel is very outdated, there were some stains on our bedsheet which then makes you unsure on what you’re laying on. Our AC was also not working. And rooms are not at all sound proof. When anyone closed their door, our room would shake! People above us sounded like they were moving furniture around and I think they were simply just walking. If you’re looking to get a good night sleep, especially with kids, it will not be found here.

Upon checking in, we were never notified that there is issues with the water pressure and temperature. 1st day we were there as I got in the shower. The wall started shaking as the pipes were rumbling the water turned extremely hot, i with no non slip resistant pads on the bottom of the shower I.Slipped almost broke a rib bruise, my hip and had to hobble around the rest of vacation in pain

Love this place! It’s so close to everything and so nice if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of San Diego but close enough enjoy the city if you want.

Great location, beware pool was closed

I drove from Arizona on family vacation. Arrived sometime between 7-8 pm. The girl behind the desk was not welcoming and made me wait few although I was the only one checking in. She said she would be with me in a minute. I noticed that the pool, hot tub and fitness center was closed. I asked her if I can get a discount because I took a room overlooking the pool for extra charge. She said she can’t do that, maybe because I used 3 rd party to pay for hotel. She did not explain or try to fix the situation. Still charged me resort fee although more than half resort fee amenities are unusable. She seemed like I was annoying her with my questions and presence. I was disappointed. I hate paying extra for something that I can’t use. The room was nice. The office offered great coffee. And the morning lady was super nice and told us how to walk to the beach. Overall great location the outlets across the street are amazing.
