Run down motel 6 inside.

The kitchen area has been broken down for 6 years now. The ice machine has been broken for 5 yrs now. Walls are like paper upstair and down stairs. Poorly take.care of. Its a motel 6 . Not marbrisa .motel 6 people live their like apartments. not hotel.

Well didn't expect to be sharing the room with roaches. Couldn't fall asleep afraid they were going to get on us as we were sleeping. Didn't want to walk around as there were several on the floor, walls and restroom. Had to leave lights on. We told mgmt. but they didn't have anyone else available so we had to stay there. I liked how the outside looked but the issue was in the rooms. The sofa looked like a cat had gotten to it. Sad it could be a nice place if they kept it up.

This property is old and owner isn’t taking care of it. Carpet in the hallway is stained and very visibly dirty. Our room had bugs in it from the windows being left open. The heater didn’t work and it was cold. The kitchen had no cooking appliances.

Although it’s not a 5 star hotel I do enjoy staying here. The beds are decent. The full sized fridge is awesome and the rooms are decently spacious. However I thought the rooms were a little overpriced and I felt like their staff was entering my room when I wasn’t there. If they fixed their pool and offered breakfast this place could make a complete turnaround.

They pool area could be enjoyed immensely if it were in service! Such pretty grounds and so close to the beach, it's a shame that what can be a beautiful pool area isn't being used and enjoyed

What was unique about the property is how large it is. The rooms are very large & have full size fridges-which is good-but the massive amount of roaches outweighs the good. When you walk down the hallways all you will see is dirty carpets and some roaches on the walls. We had a total of 3 rooms. The first room was roach infested and the carpet was so dirty that when you walked on it you had dirt attached to your feet. The second room we got transferred to after I complained to the GM was visibly clean but you would see a few roaches here and there. The 3rd room we got transferred to was visibly clean expect the bathtub was stained. The 1st and 3rd room had torn shower curtains, broken towel holders. The first room tv didn’t work. All rooms had ripped window curtains. Al rooms had stained bedding. The towels were all rough and some had stains. Last but not least the pillows there are really flat for some reason. When I asked the GM about the cleanliness of the bedding and rooms she emphasized that the amenities and bedding weren’t of a 4 start hotel. So I was pretty shocked with her answer. Regardless of what star the property is considered everything should be clean. The only reason why I gave the property staff more than a 1 star is there was a young man who worked evening hours that had an extremely great attitude. Staff are all very accommodating and patient . They worked with me when I needed more time to go to important doctor appointments and I felt like I was being helped and not judged for having a disability . The rooms are homey, and dont give off the vibe that I'm residing in a hotel but more like a studio. I like they offer polomive dish soap too

I had a feeling this looked like a Motel 6 from the logo and very similar name, but I gave it a shot. Once I mapped my location from inside the room I realized my gut was correct as it showed Motel 6 (I guess name on Google maps hasn’t been changed yet ). With that said, you get what you should expect from a Motel 6. Found roaches, no extra bedding for someone staying on couch with stains, and no one is at the lobby to assist after 10pm.

Avoid at All Costs – Filthy, Unhygienic, and Mismanaged I regret booking a stay at Studio 6 in Carlsbad, California—it was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I stepped into my room, I was appalled by the state of the furniture. The couch was in complete disarray—stained, torn, and truly disgusting. The bed was just as bad, made with only a single sheet and no blanket. When I went downstairs to request one, I was told they didn’t have any blankets at all—an absolutely ridiculous situation for a hotel. I then asked for a different room, which the front desk employee—clearly untrained and begrudgingly willing to help—reluctantly agreed to show me. Shockingly, the second room was in even worse condition than the first. The only upside? It had a blanket, which I asked to take back to my original room. At this point, I was already frustrated, but things only got worse. The real nightmare? Cockroaches. My girlfriend and I killed three cockroaches in the bathroom at different times throughout our stay. That was the final straw. On top of the unacceptable cleanliness and complete lack of hospitality, it was clear that the hotel has a contract with the city or county to house homeless individuals. While I understand the need for such programs, it creates an environment that is far from what any traveler would expect in a “normal” motel.
