Had a rez for my family of 5 to attend a soccer tournament. I called the hotel on Fri to let them know that although we weren't going to be able to arrive on the first night that I didn't want to lose the reservation and I understood that I would still have to pay for night 1. They said it was OK only to find out on Sat that I was recorded as a no-show and my room was no longer available. I showed the manager the call log and she apologized. Only room left was a single Queen which wouldn't work for my family. Ended up having to drive back home b/c all hotels were booked up due to the tournament. Happy Expedia took care of me and got me a full refund.
