Sad how down hill it has gone

Was not impressed with being put on the second floor when I called and I specifically posted because of my scooter it's difficult to get in and out of their elevator that I needed a first floor room which of course they did not Reserve I also did the pre check in said it was going to be easier to all I had to do was go get my keys which was not correct at all I still have to go through all the check-in process even though I already did it online for their website saying it was going to be easier it smelled like mildew we had ants all over the place it was the only thing that was good was the bed was comfortable that was the only good thing that happened out of this trip I will not be staying at La Quinta ever again

The hotel is older. The room we stayed in (360) the TV did & Phone did not work. The dresser draws open on their own as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and only about 5 minutes from LEGO land so can’t complain too much. Front desk staff was very helpful though. If you’re just looking for a quick stay, it’ll work.

August Visit to the La Quinta

The hotel staff was very friendly. I came in pretty late and they called me to ask me if I was still going to stay.The hotel is full of families, which was nice in some respects. The hotel borders a freeway, which is very loud, the hotel is also dated, the bathroom was very old, it had been reglazed and whoever was hired did a bad job. Breakfast was packed with families, dont get there late if you want breakfast.While I was there most people are there visiting the parks, the location is central to many attractions and there are many options for shopping and dining for families.

Looks good from outside but the 2 rooms that we got were terrible. Bad smell in the room, sink faucet didn't work and only hot water comes out. The phone was broken. Pillows were so small. Carpet in the room was worn out and ripped. The shower walls had mildew. The shower diverter lever was stuck and very hard tonpull up.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from Legoland. The freeway is next to it. A bit noisy, but didn’t bother us. Property is a bit outdated, but not a big deal. Pros: near Legoland, freeway, & shopping center (Costco/fast food). Our room was in front of the elevator so we didn’t have to walk much. Beds were comfortable. It had a working AC. It had a microwave which we didn’t use; who knows if it worked. Cons: the room was stuffy; had to have the AC on or else it got super hot. Outlets did not work. The very few that worked were very loose. We had to blow dry our hair on the floor, while holding the connection so it wouldn’t fall off and disconnect. The bathroom stunk like bleach, which gave me a headache. The room itself was clean & presentable, but the shower walls were dirty. The remote control didn’t work properly. We had to press the up/down button very slowly and wait for it to change. Sadly, my 8 year old daughter was trying to find something for them to watch and they came across a naked man and saw their front private area. After that, I said no more tv. The food was the same for both days (plain yogurt, cereal, instant oatmeal, overly seasoned potatoes, watery scrambled eggs, thin bacon, tortillas for burritos, waffles, sliced toast, bagels & fruit). I would suggest to change up their breakfast options. The dining room is limited/small, but they do have an outdoor area. 1 staff in the dining room is not enough. Tables & food area was dirty or under stocked.

I booked this hotel because I have stayed with Wyndham before and my stays have always been pleasant until now. I booked a king room with fold out mattress and after going into the room the odor of urine was prominent. When I went to the front desk they sent us to a new room that was smaller and the condition of the room was less than what was expected. The room smelled of smoke. The room was smaller than the one we originally booked and we were not given a reimbursement for the downgrade in the room. The room was in poor condition. I will say cleaning staff cleans the the room daily but the atmosphere of the room was definitely not what we payed for.

The bathroom did not have a sink and was small and looked like one you’d find at a cheap motel

The very friendly staff was the only redeeming quality about this property. The bathroom was gross, the toilet was hooked up to hot water, so it was consistently humid in the bathroom and the toilet seat was moist. There was also police activity during our stay, we saw them arrest someone our first evening, and saw the police come back the following day. The walls were thin and between that, the freeway, and the constantly running toilet, it was a noisy night. Would not recommend or stay here again.

The property is nice, staff were polite, and professional. Rooms can use a makeover or deep clean especially restrooms. The sink faucet had a lot black/white residue, and so did the shower. I would say restrooms need a good deep clean or replacement of faucet/shower-head. Other than that it was really close to everything and parking was very accesible.

It’s definitely just a place to lay your head for the night out of desperation . Upon entering there was a noticeable moist smell and The furniture was visibly damaged. The shower was horrible , there was mildew and uneven paint in there . Lastly, I had to put my luggage back into my car to prevent from taking home one of their guest.
