I would stay again

It was good to stay for one night. Not much of a breakfast grab-n-go. Good for the price and close to the caverns. Disappointed there was no where to eat near by we drove in to town.

Quite decent motel, close to the Carlsbad Cavern National Park. There is a restaurant around which closes at 3pm. For dinner you have ro travel to Carlsbad for around 30 minutes

The staff and room were excellent. Very clean large room. Only drawnack is the area is a little remote snd thr only place to eat closed at 3pm. Great place to stay if you make sure you have some food with you....lol

White’s City Cavern Inn is such a convenient place to stay for visiting Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad National Parks. It’s kind of a no frills place, but that’s ok because we were there for the parks! Check in was friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and there is definitely conveience to parking right outside your room. We encountered a scary dust storm on the way to the town of Carlsbad and once returning to the hotel, realized the power was out. A very kind employee came by to check on us and asked if we needed anything, luckily we had plenty of snacks ps led so we were good for the evening. There’s a cute gift shop across the road, and restaurant that appears to be open for breakfast and lunch. We didn’t eat there, but it looked nice. I would stay there again if in the area!

Older property that offers a Continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant next door was closed due to unforeseen reasons. The only other option for food was 20 miles away except for the small grocery store across the street. I would stay here again, but would be prepared for meal options. The restaurant was open the day we left. We had breakfast there and the good was great!

Great potential—needs attention!

Large comfortable room available before check in. Friendly staff! Heat difficulties with unreliable machine led to uncomfortable cold night wearing clothing in bed… Beds need rubber cups to keep them from rolling away as you sit on them—very dangerous! Insufficient breakfast was almost entirely gone when we arrived—replenish, please, so all guests can have some!

This motel is about location. It is 7 minutes from Carlsbad caverns. It is reasonably priced and clean. It has a free grab and go breakfast that is very basic but convenient. There is no food nearby so make sure to pack your dinner or you’ll be making a 40 minute round trip to Carlsbad.
