A lovely stay in a perfect place for our family. Superbly located to be able to see all the amazing things there are to see in the area supported by the lovely family and owners of the property.The owners cared about our stay and were very keen to help us and support questions, but most of all were lovely and we even had the pleasure of meeting their grandchildren.Also, Carlux is a lovely spot and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the annual Crepes festival.

Perigord Noir, France 2025

Apartment was clean and airy. Two good size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with indoor seating area. Also there is a nice seating area outside. Pool was kept in excellent condition by the host. The location is very good for exploring the Dordogne area. Excellent hosts too. Merci Beaucoup, Yves et Nadia.

Lovely accommodation and swimming pool

The property is high quality and very clean with a very nice swimming pool set in pretty, well cared for gardens. The property owners are lovely and very helpful. Nice restaurant and pizza take away close by and the village of Carlux is beautiful with many amenities.

Wonderful holiday in perfect location

Spacious, clean, well equipped property in beautiful surroundings. Lovely pool. Two restaurants within 200 yards one with lovely views over the Dordogne. Nadia the owner went to a lot of trouble to describe the best places to visit in the area. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

A wonderful property. The photograph does not do it justice. Everything was to the highest standard and carefully thought out. Parking was easy and the swimming pool was very good. We were given plenty of information about places to visit and there are many. You can use a footpath above the grounds of the property to walk to the banks for the Dordogne river where there are two restaurants. Simple food but good. The property was difficult to find and some in depth instructions or a small map would have been helpful. All in all, a perfect short break. We would certainly like to return.

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad,Met als gastheer Yve een super heer, ,en super mevrouw Nadia die je privé toe laat, en indien nodig je zal bij staan.Heerlijk verwant zwembad met een prachtige verzorgde tuin errond.het vakantiehuis had al het nodige met twee ruime slaapkamers.veel te bezichtigen dichtbij,de moeite waard.een plus voor de prijs.

TrĂšs bon sĂ©jour chez Yves et Nadia. Bien situĂ©e Ă  proximitĂ© des lieux incontournables du PĂ©rigord. La maison est au milieu de la verdure avec une magnifique terrasse plein sud oĂč il est difficile de rester tant le soleil tape, elle permet cependant d’avoir des nuits plutĂŽt fraĂźches en plein mois d’aoĂ»t mais Ă©galement beaucoup d’humiditĂ© Ă  l’intĂ©rieur... Pour la piscine il faudra vous rendre en face sur le terrain des propriĂ©taires qui vous laissent tranquillement profiter de leur immense piscine et ont su rester trĂšs discret lorsque Ns y Ă©tions. A savoir les problĂšmes de tĂ©lĂ©phonie et internet et ce malgrĂ© toute la bonne volontĂ© des propriĂ©taires vous serez peu ou pas joignable. BientĂŽt la fibre qui devrait tout rĂ©soudre. Ils ont tout prĂ©vu. CĂŽtĂ© intĂ©rieur vous trouverez 2 immenses chambres, une salle de bain et un salon salle Ă  manger conforme Ă  la description. Certains Ă©quipements (aspirateur, sĂšche-cheveux, poĂȘle..) sont quelque peu vieillissants et mĂ©riterai un remplacement mais je suis certaine qu’en en parlant aux propriĂ©taires, chose que nous n’avons pas fait, ils feront le nĂ©cessaire. Merci Ă  eux pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils avisĂ©s sur leur belle rĂ©gion.

Annonce non conforme ni réseau téléphonique ni internet

La location concernĂ©e n’est pas couverte par le rĂ©seau tĂ©lĂ©phonique notamment d’Orange et ne dispose pas de ligne fixe sans que cela soit mentionnĂ© dans l’annonce et que les propriĂ©taires nous aient prĂ©venus prĂ©alablement lors des diffĂ©rents Ă©changes. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas non plus, bien que prĂ©vu au contrat. Le dispositif est constituĂ© par une box dans la maison des propriĂ©taires situĂ©e Ă  plusieurs dizaines de mĂštres avec un relai dans la location. Par deux fois, les propriĂ©taires, absents Ă  notre arrivĂ©e et alertĂ©s par nos soins, ont envoyĂ© des intervenants qui ont relancĂ© la box qui fonctionnait. Mais, vĂ©rification faite, le signal wifi se coupait systĂ©matiquement Ă  mi-chemin entre la maison principale et la location. Donc nous ne pouvions ni Ă©mettre, ni recevoir d'appels tĂ©lĂ©phoniques ni avoir accĂšs Ă  internet. Ces deux Ă©lĂ©ments constituaient des critĂšres de base fondamentaux sans lesquels nous n’aurions pas louĂ© cette maison et comme aucune solution ne pouvait ĂȘtre apportĂ©e par les propriĂ©taires, nous avons, aprĂšs prĂ©venance, quittĂ© la location, le contrat n’étant manifestement pas rempli. MalgrĂ© nos demandes rĂ©itĂ©rĂ©es aux propriĂ©taires, ceux-ci ont refusĂ© le remboursement de la location. Ce comportement dĂ©note que ces propriĂ©taires ne sont pas dignes de confiance.

Gastvrije ontvangst in zeer comfortabele woning vlakbij de rivier

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door gastvrouw Nadia en gastheer Yves, die ons overlaadden met nuttige tips voor uitstapjes en gastronomische geneugten. Het huis was zeer comfortabel en goed uitgerust en opvallend koel ondanks het extreem hete weer. Het mooi gelegen zwembad bracht nog wat extra verkoeling. Top verblijf, een absolute aanrader !

Das Haus liegt ruhig nicht weit vom Fluss entfernt. Terasse ist sonnig mit Sonnenschirm. Parkplatz am Haus. Bei der Anfrage Nebenkosten der Vermieterin nachfragen. Haus ist schön sauber und gerĂ€umig alles da. Gutes Restaurant im naheliegenden Hotel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß kaum vorhanden
