I contacted the property by email in advance to see if it was possible to do an early check in but no one responded. There was a leak on top of the bed and woke up all wet “disgusting”. The iron wasn’t working neither the hair blower. There was garbage in the kitchen from the previous occupants. I ask for clean towels at 10 am and got them at 6:00 pm after many contacts to the receptionist. 😡 Also I try to buy a breakfast and pay with a 50,000 pesos bill and told me that they didn’t have change and that they can’t serve me. I was on the 9th floor and the loud music at night from the terrace and the “chivas” on the road all night was super loud, so was impossible to sleep. The place is nice but the service was horrible!

The room was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. We enjoyed the ocean view from our room and having a kitchen with full fridge. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and having occasional appetizers and drinks there. Even on hot days there was always a comfortable breeze on the rooftop. We had no difficulty finding the location and a security guard was always present. We were always warmly greeted by the staff whenever we returned to the hotel.

Air conditioning caused a huge pool of water in the main bedroom The windows didn’t close all the way to water was coming in Overall quality was designed with beauty, but very low quality and was old and falling apart. The hotel safe didn’t work, stains on the table, ect… If I had a guest after 8PM it would cost double per night extra The location of the hotel is horrible, right on a major highway, and nothing in the neighborhood except the Cartagena sign which you’re done visiting in 10 minutes. I thought the proximity to the beach was a plus, but Cartagena’s beaches aren’t where people go, they are kind of gross. Everyone takes a boat trip to the Rosario Islands. I observed all of this in 20 minutes, they refused to cancel my booking, so I booked a last minute hotel in the Centro neighborhood – walled city. I ended up paying for 2 hotels this trip, but the new hotel was amazing!!! (casa la cartujita)

Noise from renovation start way too early , and people with room at the back are subject to extremely loud music coming from a nearby club/ house. Security very friendly and helpful, but the desk girls aren’t always helpful and I think that could be due to limited English. I also think a little more attention to room upkeep should be exercised and not only available for payment. Decent spot but the area and beach have zero to offer , I’d recommend searching out a different area. Although psssable , I’d not return or recommend, with so many better options.

The place was excellent, the service was great, and they attended to my needs super quickly. The room was decent, perfect for resting since we didn't spend much time in the room. Overall, I loved it! It has everything: a coffee shop for breakfast or snacks, lunch options, and a bar. The terrace was incredible, and it's in a great location, in my opinion. No complaints!

Staff were very considerate and service was excellent. Note that cash is not widely accepted at the restaurants, which almost became an issue over a simple beer on the roof top patio. Room was neat and tidy and everything was very clean.

I liked the room and the staff. I wish the shower looked a bit cleaner, as it almost looked like mold on the edge of the floor, but the country is very humid. The rooftop pool is great, but the jacuzzi was not hot at all and the pool was actually warmer. The staff were super nice and I appreciated the 24 hour security very much. Wasn’t a big fan of the cafe downstairs food, but again, the staff were very friendly and I got great work done down there while having a great view of the beach!
