Our family had an outstanding stay at Hotel Casa Don Luis. From the moment we arrived, Morelis Bello welcomed us warmly and handled both our check-in and check-out flawlessly. She was professional, attentive, and especially thoughtful in catering to our children’s needs, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. Whenever Morelis was off, Jairo Doval stepped in and provided the same exceptional level of service. He was friendly, efficient, and made us feel equally valued and cared for. A special thank you as well to Eduardo, who hosted breakfast each morning with warmth and attention to detail. He made every morning enjoyable and welcoming for our family. The entire team went above and beyond to create a memorable experience. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

This was a lovely hotel with great staff. Food was excellent. Position for walking around the town was good and there were lots of bars and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

The place was beautiful and very well located. However, the entire property was dark, the hallways and stairs were dangerous without proper illumination. The hotel tries to create ambiance with the candlelight illumination but it is dangerous when you circulate and need to go up or down stairs. And the whole feeling is like being in a cloister, long dark, quiet corridors. Also the pool while beautiful and well kept is unusable as it sits right in front of the dining area.

We loved our stay right from the arrival. Our concierge, Eduardo was phenomenal. Waiter, Juan Carlos was an absolute pleasure. We had the best attention and place was lovely. The bed and pillows were divine and I slept like a baby. The blinds - oh my! I woke up rested every day. Another positive was the location. We felt safe, shops, restaurants, sightseeing, airport was close - walking distance and uber rides less than 10 mins. I would definitely book our stay here again. If you get a chance to go to the spa- I strongly recommend it, the masseuse ladies were wonderful.

Everything was amazing about this property except I had a few incidents with some of the front desk staff. The cleaning crew was extremely amazing and nice.and also they put at the wrong room for the same price.that was not pleasant at all

The resort is beautiful. The beach and water are beautiful too. Great service, beautiful view from my room. Highly recommended. Cons? It’s Cartagena, it means happiness, music, warmth people, smiles. I know it’s a French hotel, but hello, the hotel is in Colombia. Tourists want to feel their culture. Employees are too serious and saying madame all the time sounds ridiculous. Not their fault, obviously it’s what they need to do. Music (of course only from the hotel) at the beach would give a nice Caribbean touch. Also, the cocktails (not cheap at all) had little alcohol) The rest, the hotel is amazing. I will come back.
