I was very happy with my stay at mood matuna, staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I felt safe in the area and with lots of interesting areas to visit that is a walkable distance. There is even a small grocery store nearby if theres stuff you need for basic essential needs. They also have a restaurant that also offers room service. Food was definitely good and priced reasonably it was my go to place to eat. If i have to rate this place it would definitely be 5/5 the stay was comfortable and i was really happy of this choice for my stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

We spent four nights at the Mood Matuna Hotel. The location is perfect, a five minute walk to either the old city or Getsemaní. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a king size bed and balcony. We particularly enjoyed the included breakfast, which had a variety of interesting choices. there was also a small gym which we used each day. My main complaint was the check-in process. We received three emails telling us we had to check in online before arriving in order to get our room code. I only received a link to check in after WhatsApping the hotel from the airport before we flew to Cartagena. The check-in process on my phone was slow and frustrating. I’m not even sure why they required it since there was a person at the desk who was happy to add my wife when we arrived. I would still recommend the hotel highly to people looking for a comfortable place to stay that’s quiet but near everything you’ll want to see.

The wifi didn’t work in the room. Despite having the aircon on for climate control the entire time, the room was horrifically damp from start until end. No hair dryer in the room. Overall, the only thing this place going for it is the location next to the Centenario Park.

Mood Matuna was more than I could have asked for! They presented me with a bottle of champagne upon my arrival for my birthday which happened to be the 492 birthday for Cartagena as well! Sara, Natalia, Dylan, Bralan, & Luis were so accommodating and very sweet, genuine staff that helped me navigate the city. The hotel is perfectly centered by the park & 5 minute walking distances to everywhere you need to go! I will definitely be back!

The motel was in a good area and walking distance to a lot of places to eat or shop some. The hallways and the elevator has no air and the wifi wasn't that good in the room. It's not the most quiet because of up the street activities, but not that bad. The room was very nice! The motel overall was very good! Great staff! They were very helpful. I would stay there again if I chose that area.
