A two star at four star prices. No kleenex, no fridge, black tiled shower badly stained, takes forever for hot water, dirty light switches, metal peeling off toilet seat flusher, have to pay for water at breakfast, have to ask for coffee refill from server who just stands there without roaming to serve patrons, staff have very limited English capability. Book the NH down the block which has none of these problems, is much cleaner and half the price.

We arrived early around noon and they gave us a delicious passionfruit welcome drink.. unfortunately it was all downhill from there. The bed frame essentially came off the bed and was wobbling off the bed. Other people’s hairs on the stained pillows, the walls were stained with what looked like mildew and running water. The room was tiny and not as advertised. The wardrobe incredibly worn and dirty. Do not stay here. We are so thankful we booked through Expedia and the extremely helpful and patient travel agents were able to get us a full refund! However, that was not without difficulty from the hotel as well- hotel concierge refused to answer expedias phone calls to either upgrade or refund the travel. IVR only available via Spanish and did not have translation option. I’m so fortunate that Expedia was able to email the hotel and resolve the issue separately while I booked the Hyatt regency Cartagena which was a gorgeous hotel that had all the luxuries of an American resort!!

There was construction going on around the property so the taxis and Ubers could not pick/up drop off at the property.. it was inconvenient trying tonfind the hotel for the first time because i could nkt confirm where the property was when i first arrived because the driver couldnt gondown the street and i had to walk down with my luggage not knowing exactly how far i had to go
