Beautiful rural retreat

A country retreat with enough charm to make anyone want to stay forever. The ultimate in privacy and seclusion, this is the perfect property for those much-needed holidays to just disappear from the modern world. Located just 15kms Northwest of Portland and 20kms Northeast of Cape Bridgewater, Foleys Run gives you the best of three worlds - enjoy the country cottage in private farm surrounds, a trip into town for shopping or dinner on the waterfront, or head out to Bridgewater Beach to soak up the sun and surf.

The cottage has been renovated and includes all the modern conveniences of home, including a newly installed reverse cycle air conditioner in the dining room. The lounge has a wood heater to sit by and watch a DVD on those cold afternoons, or in the summer enjoy a BBQ on the deck while taking in the serenity of the peaceful surrounds. Three bedrooms offer two queen beds and two singles with an additional sofa bed in the family room if required. Featuring a bathroom with walk in shower and claw foot bath, there is nowhere else to be while holidaying in the country.

"This lovely cottage is set in a picturesque, peaceful rural setting. Loved sitting on the verandah looking out over pastures listening to the sounds of sheep, cows and chooks! If you’re wanting peace and serenity, this is where to escape to. The cosy wood fire in the little lounge room was the perfect ending every night."

Nice, quiet property just ou of Portland that was just right for a small-medium family to stay. Amenities were good, bedrooms the same and location was excellent. Very much enjoyed the small farm feeling and nice to have a quiet yet conveinent location near town. Highly recomend to ayone and would definitely stay here again

Beautiful farm cottage located just out of Portland

Beautiful farm cottage, we loved our stay and being able to enjoy the countryside. Well located in relation to Portland and Cape Bridgewater, we also used it as a base to visit Budj Bim National Park. The cottage was very homely and clean, some bugs but to be expected. The fireplace was welcomed when it cooled down at night. Next time we come Portland way would definitely stay again.

Property was clean, functional and perfect location for our daily fishing in Portland and trips to cape Bridgewater for swimming at the beach. Unlike a lot of other properties, this one includes small touches like clothes airers that make staying for a longer period all the more easy. Highly recommend!

Lovely quiet spot among farms

Three of us had four nights at Foley's Run and loved our stay there. The house is capacious and well stocked with skylights and verandas all around. It has all the mod cons you will need and the beds were comfortable. Google Maps may misdirect you but we found it eventually. A great spot for exploring Portland and the nearby coast, or for chilling in the yard with a book and glass of wine. Recommended.

Country Peace

Lovely cottage located a little bit from town and even though close to the road it was quiet inside. Sheep and cattle nearby and a short walk down the road spotting koalas was fun. Lovely that pets are accepted and they had a ball as well.

Very clean and cosy home

The Propert is great for families and a let. We loved the fire place and updated bathroom. The hot water did run out which is not for a family of six.
