Staff are polite and nice, but the other thing is my first day is not good guest on the other room was smoking outside the door and drinking , I feel not comfortable the management should do something about that smokers have supposed to have a designated area to smoke and drink I feel so disappointed,

We had a fantastic stay at the Alpine Inn. Our double queen kitchen suite was perfect for our 5 night stay, and we had the best sleep of our vacation. We had a private outdoor area to enjoy. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

There’s only one thing that I might suggest that needs improvement. That is the bar soap for washing and the packets of shampoo for your hair. I would suggest that the bar soap should be at least double in size because the current ones are too small to handle and they don’t last that long. As well it’s harder on the environment because you’re constantly throwing out the plastic wrap because you need a new bar to wash with. Also the ketchup style packets of shampoo are incredibly hard on the environment as you can only get one use and then you have to open a new one. My suggestion would be bigger bars of soap for the sink and the pump dispenser style in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash like most other motels utilize nowadays.

Perfect spot for a stay in Nelson

Nelson's shoulder season

This property is a ten minute uphill walk from downtown. There was no one there in the shoulder season but us and I asked for the seasonal rate but was given a lousy $15 discount. The fold out bed from the couch was awful. Noisy and spring and bars sticking into your back. The until was clean and comfortable otherwise. There is no bath tub. Only a standing shower and the hot water ran very very hot.
