A modern villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms set on a large private gated plot with ample parking, gardens, terraces and large private pool all with far reaching views over the fruit farms to the Mediterranean sea at Cullera, just south of Valencia.
The villa, located 40 minutes drive from central Valencia, is set on the mountainside in a semi rural position and has what we feel are the best views in the area. The sunrise and sunsets from the terrace are amazing and the view changes at night when all the villages and seafront properties are lit up.
The villa is available all year round with cooling air conditioning in the summer and a log burner which keeps the villa and its occupants warm in the winter.
This location is all about the views, from sunrise to sunset and even at night the views are stunning.
The villa, whilst being on the edge of an urbanisation, is in a secluded position which is quiet and peaceful but is also a short drive to local towns, main roads, train & metro stations, the city of Valencia and the coast.

The Villa was very nice and had everything you would need. The outside space was amazing, The pool Is lovely and clean and was bigger enough for our 3 kids to enjoy. The views are spectacular with the surrounding areas very peaceful. Just right to enjoy a relaxing holiday. There was plenty of seating area and sun beds, Also a good, shaded area to avoid the heat of the Sun. The Owners were quick to respond to any Questions, Also provided key information for our stay. A visit to Valencia is a must, There are some great markets, and the beach was 5 stars. Also, a very good Shopping Outlet just outside Valencia. There is also a nice Waterpark only 40 mins drive from the Villa. In all we had a very relaxing holiday and would highly recommend your stay at Mel and Dave's Villa.

Wonderful villa with amazing views
The villa is very spacious inside and the kitchen has everything you need including a coffee pod machine. The large pool is fantastic with loads of comfortable sun loungers and sun all day. The owners even provided towels and inflatables for the pool. The views are just spectacular during the day and beautiful in the evening especially with the pool lights on. There are a few large supermarkets only 10 minutes drive away to stock up on everything you need. The owners are very responsive and provided excellent information and directions. We had a very relaxing, chilled stay and had everything we needed. This villa is excellent value for money and we would defiantly consider visiting again.

Lovely villa in peaceful spot with amazing views
A modern and spacious villa in the heart of real Spain away from the hustle and bustle of tourist Spain. Very clean, tidy and well presented offering all the requirements for a relaxing holiday. There was only the two of us on this occasion and the villa coped very well for our needs. We enjoyed the spectacular views at all times of the day and the pagoda over the outside eating area not only protected from the daytime sun but created a cosy spot for evening dining. It was just so peaceful! There was a minor problem of keeping the pool completely clean during our stay due to dust from a storm or the farming, but it was not an issue to us and it was regularly maintained whilst we were there. Due to its out of the way location a car is a must if you want to explore the area. The property is accessed along an unadopted road with great private parking behind a lockable gate. Valencia was an easy 40 minute drive away which we would recommend if you have not been before. We had a great time and we thank the owners for sharing their home with us. We would greatly recommend a stay at this home from home villa and we know our teenagers would have loved it if they had been with us!

A stunning villa in a beautiful place with amazing views
We had an amazing holiday from start to finish, the villa is beautiful and comfortable easily accommodating our 4 children . Much thought and care has been put into the facilities of the villa making it very easy to have a relaxing break away from the business of life, the rooms are all spacious and well equipped. As you enter the villa a sign saying this is our happy place greets you, and I couldn’t agree more!

Villa nice to bad about the owners
On first impression villa looked lovely with beautiful views untill 2nd day when poo came up shower drain while shower was in use. Owners were unable to fix untill day 6 of 7. Lost most of deposit Owner stated we broke drainage system took it apart to clear blockage and tried to cover it up. Which is an outrageous lie. Make sure and do a spring clean before you leave as stripping the beds, empting all rubbish bins cleaning outside having kitchen clean was not good enough for The owner . Also folks my family got judged by owner in the middle of our holiday when he came to repair drainage system that the villa looked as though it had been burgled we were a family on holiday what did he expect, there was pool floats and towels laying around. And in 39 degree heat dont use the aircon as extra charges will occur. And heaven forbid you hang wrong key on wrong nail but corrected it before you left thats a big no no as well. There property manager is unwell and Owner had to do his job for him. In my opinion he kept deposit to help pay for his flight and replace drainage system which was broken when we got there. Also got accused of leaving oven filthy funny that we dident use oven and bbq required scrubbing before first use. I would NOT recommend this villa to anyone due to the owners. Good memories ruined by Owner.

We loved our stay at the villa
The villa is in a lovely position with great views over the countryside to the sea. The villa was lovely and clean and very comfortable. We had no trouble finding the villa with the instructions given to us. If you like peace and quiet with just the bird song then this is the place for you. Catadau is about 10 mins drive away with a lovely square where you can sample the local wine! There are 2 supermarkets there, where you can find everything you need for your stay. I would recemmend this villa for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday which is in easy reach of the coast and Valencia. It only took us 30 mins drive from Valencia airport.

Modern & Stylish
On arrival the views over the orange groves, absolutely blow you away, the Villa is modern and stylish, with everything that you will need for your stay. Very clean and tidy and a wonderful layout internally as well as externally, the pool area is perfect. We had a very restful stay and enjoyed every moment, quiet and relaxing and plenty of sunshine. Would definitely make a return visit at some point in the future. Thank you to Mel & Dave for all your assistance.

Fantastic villa- we will be back
The villa was very well equipped. It had everything that was needed for a self catering stay. There is a fantastic kitchen that had everything that would be needed. The owners were generous to leave us some food for our late arrival so we were relaxed about breakfast and immediate things. The pool was fabulous, it was private and such a sun trap. The outside space is well equipped with seating all over the property, in shade or sun. There was a great washing machine which was simple to use and taking the bin out was simple. This was an easy going stay for us, the bedrooms were all provided with very comfy beds and excellent facilities. The bathrooms were brilliant and there were no issues with water, electric etc. The villa felt safe. It is some way up a rocky road but this proved no issue and to have the view at the top was lovely. The communication with the owners was excellent, we were given clear instructions on how to get there and what to do once there. We felt they were very supportive in answering our questions and it made our stay and booking very smooth. We would definitely return to the villa, it is perfect for lazy days by the pool.

Peaceful and quiet, away from it all in the countryside
A well-equipped and comfortable villa, providing us with all we required for a quiet and relaxing 2 weeks. There was just 2 of us on this occasion, however the villa does offer good accommodation and space for a family. Although the villa gets the sun all day most days there was a pleasant breeze blowing in from the sea. As per the previous review a car really is essential (Valencia and Cullera seafronts approx. 40 mins & 60mins). We did have an issue with the pool on our arrival – it was only about 2/3rds full of water!! Clearly it had not been cleaned and prepared prior to our arrival. Full credit however to the owners as communication with them was very good and the issue was sorted out. The pool was regularly cleaned and maintained during the remainder of our stay and was thoroughly enjoyed every day. The owners offered to refund our first night as a gesture of goodwill. Two and half weeks on from our return home and this has not happened! Would however consider another holiday at the villa.

Peace and Tranquillity
A relaxing and peaceful villa overlooking orange groves and sea to the distance, the villa was spotless and had everything you could need, the people if you see any around the villa apart from the neighbours who only spend Sunday afternoon there or did throughout my stay of 3 weeks are really friendly. A car is a must if you want to get out and explore a 35/40 min drive to Valencia to visit its many attractions or a little further to Benidorm if you fancy it for a day 90k. I would not hesitate in returning here for a holiday rather than work and spend some time in the countryside and not forgetting the pool really warm and clean kids would have hours of fun. Adios

Goede vakantie bestemming
Voor de 3e keer verbleven in deze villa huis. Rustige plek om te verblijven met winkels in de buurt en op 35min. Rijden naar Valencia. Het zwembad is heerlijk evenals het terras om lekker ‘s avonds te kunnen ontspannen.

El enclave es maravilloso
El chalet está muy bien pero había muchas hormigas y el exterior de la propiedad está bastante descuidado. Lo mejor es la piscina. La zona exterior de sombra tenía las telas de la estructura un poco rotas y se terminaron de rajar una noche de viento.

Fantastic View
We spent a wonderful week not too far away from Valencia. Our teenage kids enjoyed the pool even though it was still a bit chilly in April. Mel and Dave are great hosts, very responsive and communicative!

Séjour reposant en famille
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine du 9 au 16 juillet 2022. La piscine est immense et bien chaude, nous nous sommes baignés et avons bien profiter de la vue magnifique sur les collines, Aucuns vis à vis et maison au calme. En revanche le quartier est un peu éloigné de Valence environ à 35 min en voiture et l accès à la maison se fait difficilement en voiture à cause de la route abîmée vous devrez avoir de préférence un suv. La maison est bien équipée. Nous avons eu un petit soucis de clef et le propriétaire est joignable et très réactif. Valence est une très belle ville

Villa au calme avec belle vue
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et la quiétude de cette location. Malgré les fortes chaleurs, la situation sur la colline procure toujours de l'air, ce qui est fort appréciable ! La piscine est grande et très agréable avec une descente par des marches et pas une échelle, ce qui est bien plus sécurisant. Les matelas sont confortables, ce qui est un plus bien entendu. Nous n'avions pas noté qu'il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle ... mais bon, ce n'est pas trop grave. La villa est spacieuse, équipée de l'air conditionné (sauf 1 chambre) et très lumineuse, ce qui est très agréable également et plutôt rare. Elle aurait cependant besoin d'un petit "revamping". Le village de Catadau n'est pas très loin et on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut. Il est important de savoir que la route qui mène à la maison est en très mauvais état et comporte beaucoup de trous importants. Il vaut donc mieux avoir une voiture style SUV. En résumé, nous avons passé 2 très agréables semaines au calme, à profiter des lieux !
