Accommodation in a construction site?? What??!
Pros:Great location

Awesome hiking, horse treks, Drakensberg Boys Choir, some great restaurants in the area.
Amazing location with great views and lots of potential but.... we weren't notified that our accommodation was in the middle of a construction site! We came all the way from New Zealand and were hoping for a restful location to unwind after a long journey...not to be. Our unit was located in the middle of an ongoing development: Construction people everywhere and construction noise (angle grinders etc) until well into the evening (8 pm). The lodge wouldn't offer us alternative accommodation so we had to stick it out for three nights. Apparently Wotif should have notified us that construction was ongoing. We made a direct complaint to them and to their credit they did give us a refund, albeit small. However, in our opinion, Caley Lodge should not be advertising units until any developments are fully completed. Not a good look!!!!
