Horrible hotel company. Check your light switches and bed sheets first! Our light switch broke and we had to sleep with a bright light on all night. Nobody to contact or help at night. Also, they booked someone in our room for our last day. We were told to move rooms for the new guest, even though we were there first!! The front desk reasoning was "they have more rates on expedia." Worst customer service ever! The only nice aspect about this hotel was the ocean view, and its honestly not all great because of all the sargassum/seaweed on their shores. Its not just belize oceans though, all of the carribean is being affected by global warming in the oceans. You're better off booking a regular hotel.

It was a very nice room No hot water barely warm usually view obstructed by wires and cables. I made arrangements for pick up at the airport it was confirmed and no one showed up was very disappointed and almost missed the last water taxi. No tv service only connect to netflix or other device on phone was a complete waste of time cuz didn't work anyway .

Other than the perfect location, the hotel room was very roomy, clean, and well equiped. The hotel room suite provided plates, pots, stove, glasses. The bathroom is roomy. The most we enjoyed is the view from our balcony. The staff were so accommodating they allow us two leave our luggage before check-in and after checkout.

I really enjoyed my stay here . Literally everything is on the same street , including the SPLIT. Ice cream right next door. Entertainment you can watch and hear music from you balcony. Room was clean , front desk was helpful . I was able to leave my bags day of check out and catch breakfast. I can back and they dropped me to the airport . I felt very safe .. a plus they have a beautiful view with tables and chairs at the top of the hotel . Would stay here again

We were absolutely impressed with everything about Jan’s hotel! They made all the arrangements for pick up from and to the airport. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The rooms were great! The location on the island is perfect!

Just enjoyed five day vacation for my 45th birthday here. Had an amazing experience at this place. The front desk staff was great and the housekeepers were truly amazing. Perfect location for everything that you may need to walk to or to go out and enjoy area of restaurants, bars, shopping, swimming and much more. The suite room we had was spacious and perfect for 2 or 4 if needed. Thank you again Jan’s.

Private dock, simple yet clean and fresh-smelling room, excellent temperature control, excellent housekeeping during stay, private balcony with great view even from the back corner of the hotel, easy walking distance to both the Split and eateries/clubs in opposite direction, great breeze on this side of the island, friendly staff, prompt shuttle service to ferry, beautiful 360* view from Pelican Nest on roof, fresh water to refill cups every day, etc. We will be back!

Unterkunft an sich ist gut, sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Das aber das anwesende Personal nur desinteressiert am Handy hängt und weder hallo noch tschüss auf die Reihe kriegt, ist sehr skurril. Man wurde ignoriert und angeschwiegen, solange man nicht explizit nach etwas gefragt hat.

Convenient hotel in a Caye Caulker party scene

The hotel was fine but located in a busy area. Caye Caulker is largely a party scene and the hotel is right on the main thoroughfare of the island. The hotel has convenient access to things but I would not recommend staying in Caye Caulker for more than one or two nights.

Staff was friendly; greatly appreciated the ease of transportation from airport to water taxi to pickup to the hotel. Great location, easy walk to the Split and many dining/drink options. The down side was “plumbing issues” that really limited our ability to enjoy our patio area due to the strong sewage smell during much of our stay. Staff were trying to address that issue without much success; no attempt to fix overhead light that wasn’t working. AC worked very well; room was clean.

We had a garden view room on the 2nd floor and what we believe to be a water pump was noisy other than that we enjoyed our stay. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the airport in Caye Caulker which was a very convenient amenity.
