When we arrived, things were very smooth, easy access to the unit, etc. Upon entering, I smelled the strong odor of black mold growing. The shower and bathroom floor were inundated with black mold. I contacted their local office by using WhatsApp and did not get a reply so I walked the 1 mile to the office and confronted them in person. I told them that it was unacceptable to have the mold as it poses the health risk for many individuals and that they had till the next morning to have it cleaned. They offered to do that and if I was not satisfied, they would refund my money. The next morning, the little cleaning lady showed up and spent hours cleaning that bathroom. It was usable when she finished, but it wasn't to my standard. The primary reason is the exhaust fan in the bathroom does not work and there is no window. This is in violation of Italian building codes and most building codes in the western world. But that place had a great location! It had a balcony overlooking the main thoroughfare for people frequent in the restaurants and bars. Fun and lively!
