The house is large and has 4 (!) bathrooms, which is great, but most are a bit dated though. The pool is large and a great place to hang out, even offering a motorized shade cloth.The owners are nice and though they only speak spanisch, they communicate very clearly and friendly.I am giving only 3 stars, because just 2 weeks before our trip we were suddenly told to pay 200 extra for "opening the pool". The advertisement only showed "Recreational amenities at the cottage include an outdoor pool" and many pictures of the pool, and nothing about extra fees.In the end the owners offered us the pool for "only 100" or to "cancel the trip" - which was ofcourse not possible, since we already had plane tickets booked for 6 months in advance... we paid this 100 reluctantly.It is an illegal fee - which Vrbo also agreed with (but then it was lowered to 100).It's not about the money, but about honesty: you can't just ask for an extra fee if you don't show it in advance.Our trip was the first month of May. According to the owners this is "out of season", but this is absurd. In the south of Spain, I will always expect a pool to be opened in May. And if not - you had 6 months to inform us about it.When booking, beware of hidden fees from the owner.
